Fall 2021: Competed in five tournaments in the fall…Registered a 7-5 singles mark…Finished 1-2 at the UCA Fall Tournament (10/3) dropping her first match to Louisiana Tech (1-6, 5-7)…Defeated Missouri State’s Alyson Piskulic (6-4, 6-2) and finally dropping her third match by a final mark of 3-6, 2-6…Lai secured a first day victory at the ITA Division I Women’s Central Regional Championship (10/21-24) in Iowa City, Iowa, defeating Thaissa Moreira of Northern Iowa by a final score of 6-1, 6-0…Concluded the fall season with three-straight wins…Posted a 5-2 doubles record…Played with Manuela Barriga (3-2) and Daniela Hlacikova (1-0)… Recorded two victories in doubles with Barriga at the UCA Tournament (10/3)…Dropped their first match versus Northeastern State’s Dorota Szcygielska/Ayu Ishibashi (0-6)…Recorded two victories in consecutive matches defeating Missouri State’s Tiffini Nash and Kate Miley (7-5) and Arkansas State’s Brooke Buehler and Rebecca Brody with a final mark of 6-4.
