Biografía Demetria Devonne Lovato, mejor conocida como "Demi Lovato" (Nacida el 20 de Agosto de 1992) es una actriz y cantante estadounidense. Nació en Dallas, Texas y es de ascendencia latina,italiana,irlandesa hindú. Inicio de su carrera profesional empezó a actuar a los 6 años, cuando fue elegida en 2002 en Barney & Friends como Angela.En ésa misma época, Lovato se destacó por su calidad musical, y además apareció en un capítulo de Prision Break, Split Ends (piloto) y en Just Jordan. Próximamente protagonizará la nueva serie de Disney Channel llamada Welcome To Mollywood que inicia su producción en septiembre de 2008,también apareció en Princess Protection Program con Selena Gómez Ella también es cantante y empezó a tocar la guitarra a partir de los 10 años. Los Jonas Brothers también escribieron algunas canciones de su próximo álbum debut a lanzarse en Septiembre u Octubre de 2008. Fue nominada a los Academy Awards gracias a que interpretó That's How You Know en Disney Mania 6 originalmente de el film de Disney, Encantada. También abrirá los conciertos de los Jonas Brothersen su tour, "Burnin Up”. Lovato aparecerá en los Disney Channel Games 2008. En cuanto a su carrera musical, firmó un contrato con la compañía discográfica Hollywood Records en 2008 y en este mismo año, lanzó su álbum debut, Don't Forget, el cual debutó en la posición número dos de la lista Billboard 200 de los Estados Unidos y posteriormente, la RIAA lo condecoró con un disco de oro gracias a ventas superadas a 500 000 copias. Su segundo álbum,Here We Go Again (2009), debutó en el número uno del Billboard 200. Su tercer álbum, Unbroken (2011) ocupó el cuarto lugar en su primera semana en el Billboard 200. De este, se desprendieron los sencillos “Skyscraper” y “Give Your Heart a Break”. El primero, ocupó el número diez en el conteo estadounidense Billboard Hot 100, mientras que el segundo tuvo un mejor desempeño radial y es el más vendido de la intérprete en los Estados Unidos. El sello publicó su cuarto álbum de estudio, DEMI (2013), el cual vendió 110 000 copias en su primera semana en los Estados Unidos, siendo su mejor debut en toda su carrera. Su primer sencillo “Heart Attack”, alcanzó el top diez en los Estados Unidos,Canadá, Nueva Zelanda, el Reino Unido, entre otros. Su sucesor, no contó con buena recepción comercial, mientras que el tercer sencillo “Neon Lights” obtuvo un aceptable recibimiento radial estadounidense. Lovato ha participado de seis giras como artista principal: Demi Live! Warm Up Tour, Summer Tour 2009, Fall Tour 2009, South America Tour 2010, A Special Night with Demi Lovato y The Neon Lights Tour. Además, ha sido invitada especial en giras de los Jonas Brothers como telonera en las giras Burnin' Up Tour, Jonas Brothers World Tour 2009 y Jonas Brothers Live in Concert. Entre su trabajo como activista social, destaca su papel de portavoz de anti-bullying de la organización PACER, la cual apoya y busca soluciones a jóvenes que son víctimas del bullying; cabe resaltar que Lovato sufrió del acoso escolar cuando tenía diez años.También se unió a las empresas Aéropostale y Do Something.org en la campaña benéfica “Teen for jeans”, la cual busca recolectar jeans en desuso para que puedan ser donados a adolescentes de bajos recursos.

Conciertos o giras de Demi Lovato Demi Lovato volvió a pisar tierra peruana, pero esta vez, superando los problemas que la mandaron a rehabilitación por unos meses a finales del 2010, y realizó un concierto que dejó a sus fans locales satisfechos. El espectáculo tuvo lugar en el Jockey Club del Perú y comenzó aproximadamente a las 8:30 luego de la presentación del grupo Ádammo, quien actuó como telonero. La artista salió con la primera canción de la noche: All night long. Después de eso, cantó algunos de sus mejores temas para sus emocionados fanáticos como Got dynamite, Catch me, What’s that boy,Like weight, Skypescreaper y cerró con Unbroken, canción que le da título a su último álbum. La cantante también se tomó el tiempo para mencionar el incidente ocurrido en noviembre del 2010, donde supuestamente se peleó con una bailarina en el aeropuerto Jorge Chávez; este incidente la llevó a ser internada en un centro de rehabilitación e impidió que tocara en el concierto que el grupo Jonas Brothers dió en nuestro hecho la artista dijo: “La última vez que vine al Perú no pude tocar para ustedes. Había pasado algo muy duro para mí y me tuve que ir. Si hay algo que me gusta de esta industria, es que siempre hay gente que te apoya. En ese momento, ustedes, pese a que no vine, me apoyaron mucho y por eso les agradezco. Ustedes me ayudaron a superar uno de los momentos más duros de mi vida”.
