1.Young people generally lack the emotional identification of traditional gardens. 2.The loss of emotional identity. 3.Cultural cognition is decreasing. 4.Preservation of traditional Chinese culture. The idea of designing is to explore how to express Chinese painting works in the way of interactive design, and to study the way of appreciation of Chinese painting. There are a variety of designing works featured Chinese garden culture, but their major functions are just to introduce and provide visual picture. Technical Solutions Kinect captures the position of multiple viewers in space; matches the projection screen with the interactive device, and then tries to interact in real time with the image.
Final Images
This image presents itself in the form of gardening design with its main subject of bamboo leaned on the rockery. In the painting, you can see houses from Jichang Garden, Huishan Mountain and its tower within to the back. The image remains the original when it detects no one in the recognition area. Then the bamboo grows and the garden blurs when people are getting close to the picture. When people are closer to the image, the bamboo wither and the image becomes more clear.

02. Animation This optional animated film tells about the communication barriers between between the elderly and the young in today’s society. Through exaggerated expressions, it reflects the problem of neglecting family members because of their dependence on mobile phones, which leads to apathy and isolation between people. I hope to arouse people’s concern and reflection on this issue. With the development of technology, mobile phone has already become an important part of our life. mobile phone makes our life more convenient, but also affects the communication between us and our families. We seldom talk to our families when we have cellphone in our hands. Mobile phone addiction has become a common phenomenon and brings great risks to the family relationships. It reduces face-to-face communication and increases loneliness. At the same time, the situation of lack of communication and patience to the families among the young people has become more and more serious.

Problems The above data show that modern young people are focused on their own affairs, and the use of mobile phones takes up most of their lives. The frequency of companionship or active contact with family members is very low, and there is a general lack of communication between them. The impact on lack of communication with families: 1. Indifferent to their relatives. 2. Hard to think of others. 3. Ignore each other’s feelings 4. Lack of trust. The frequency of communication between the elderly and their children was closely

Inspiration My work is inspired by the local scenery, customs and traditional handicraft patterns of the Miao people in Guizhou, China. Through the research of the Miao culture, I finally choose the traditional patterns of the Miao nationality as my project subject.

patterns with cultural connotations are combined with the most distinctive cattle, birds and drum towers.
Traditional Patterns Butterfly symbolizes the origin of life. Butterfly mother gives birth to 12 eggs, which each has a symbolic meaning. mother gives birth to twelve eggs, and creatures like dragon, cow, and thunder god are hatched one after another instead of one which has not been hatched out for a long time. So, the butterfly mother invites the bird to hatch it together, and then Jiang Yang, the ancestor of Miao, is hatched out. The story implies birds as a symbol of the male genitalia and the ancestor of Miao people.
Paper carving and paper cutting Paper carving was originated from the Han Dynasty of China. Among them, the folk-styled paper-carved lanterns draw on the artistic style of palace lanterns. Paper-carved lamps are one of its innovative forms. 1. Domitilla Biondi, a senior UI designer who has won the design award, left the design field for 15 years and became a paper carving artist from scratch. 2. Hari and Deepti, a couple of Indian artists currently working in Denver, USA, use paper carvings and light and shadows to create works full of creativity and fantasy. They created amazing works of paper carvings.
Fish, with the great breeding ability, symbolizes the reproductive worship, auspiciousness, wealth and harvest.

Design background and main problems
1.When traveling, people can only get to know the history of Jichang Garden through the explanation from the tour guide. This way of getting information is very single. The tour route customized by the tour guides is also relative singleness. Tourists have to follow the tour guide’s explanations all the way, but the tour guide’s explanations are easy to be missed, so tourists cannot get a good tour experience. 2.Different people have different feelings and different understanding of history when they are visiting. Many times people want to share their feelings and opinions to other people instead of just listening to the guide. At present, this user need can not be met. 3. The park is not familiar to people because there are few ways to get its information.

User 1 Male, 20 years old, non-local college students, likes to visit famous scenic spots on weekends. The travel notes and explanations have been separated. Now I could find the things I want easily. However, there is a problem in the hierarchical relationship between shared and acquired explanations, which should comes out at the same time rather than shared first and then acquired. User 2
Speciality
Female,25 years old, especially likes the gardens in the south of the Yangtze River. “The function of information sharing and tourism explanation is separated now. It’s easier for the visitors to choose what they want. But the role selection function is useless. I think it doesn’t need to be added in the app. By collecting the opinions of many users, I improved the app process and got the final app flowchart.
