Our company mission: We manage waste in Ghana by offering a reliable and affordable service. Our short term goals: 1. By the end of this year, we estimate to cover 80% of households in Breman-Essiam using our service. 2. Raise awareness through events at local schools and community centers like churches. 3. Give at least 900 trashcans to people. Startup capital: We are seeking US $12,951 to test our idea. What inspire us to do what we do: 1. Many people get sick from food poisoning each year. 2. Improperly disposed trash. Burning trash around houses is bad for health. 3. The unbearable smell from trips to Mankessim and other markets. 4. Trash that lines the road everywhere, especially plastic bottles and bags. Business Model

Campaigning with a car with a speaker, a promotional style unique to Ghana Problem 1. Why we do what we do? 1. Ghana produces 13,000 tons of trash daily, but lacks waste management infrastructure. 2. According to 2010 Environmental Performance Index (EPI) of Yale University, Ghana obtained a mark of 51.3 and was ranked 109 out of 163 countries. 3. High unemployment rate in Ghana. 4. Most of Ghanaians regard all forms of solid waste to be fated for the landfill site, and very little is recycled or disposed of sustainable Business Idea

Zoomlion Ghana Limited is a company does waste management in Ghana and Africa as a whole. 2. Zoomlion does not have an educational component to their waste management program. Whereas, we teach the value of stewardship of the environment and why responsible waste management can build a stronger community. Significant risks: 1. Over estimation of revenue stream – business is in an area of extreme poverty 2. Unexpected breakdowns from dangerous and poorly maintained roads Solution: We start small and dream big. We minimize needed startup capital by renting equipment, locating cheap land. Financial costs for 6 months
