Revit Modelling Workshop
My primary tool for collaboration between Rhino and Revit is the Rhino Inside plugin, and I am continuously working to improve my proficiency with this software.
In my quest for software alternatives to Grasshopper, I have explored Dynamo while utilizing Grasshopper as a point of reference.
I am skilled in using SketchUp, and if required, I am capable of managing projects using this software.
“Parametri_3D_X” in Rhino 3D and Panelling Tool refers to using the Parametri_3D_X plugin to generate complex 3D geometries and surfaces.
“Extrude Architecture” combines Rhino 3D software workshops with a tutor to teach students how to create and manipulate architectural models using extrusion techniques.
The Rhino 3D and Grasshopper workshop at CADD Point Velachery in Chennai teaches advanced 3D modeling and parametric design using Rhino 3D and Grasshopper software.

JEEVAN KUMAR
Greetings, I am Jeevan Kumar Balasubramanian, I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from Anna University in India and am currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Sustainable Architecture and Landscape Design at Politecnico di Milano. During my fourth semester of Master’s studies, I participated in the Erasmus Program at Warsaw University of Technology, which provided me with valuable practical experience in the field of architecture and computational design. The program exposed me to diverse cultures, different architectural styles, and innovative design methodologies, which I have since applied in my projects.
I have worked on various projects throughout my academic journey, including retail centers, luxury hotels, gated communities, schools, museums, and others. However, my Bachelor thesis project was the most challenging and significant undertaking to date, requiring construction of a massive structure surrounded by a river, canal, and lake. This project taught me valuable skills in project management, problem-solving, and teamwork. As a Junior Architect, I gained further professional experience during my internship, working on several large-scale projects and playing a key role in various stages of the design process.
Although the Covid-19 pandemic shifted my work to an online format, I took on additional responsibilities, including site supervision and project implementation, while maintaining a high standard of design quality. My master’s degree projects have expanded my knowledge of sustainable technology and landscape design, and interacting with individuals from diverse backgrounds has allowed me to gain insight into different design processes and methodologies.
I am a continuous learner, always striving to acquire new skills and techniques. I have taught myself Rhino 3D and become proficient in it. Whenever I see a structure that intrigues me, I attempt to reproduce it in Rhino 3D to gain a better understanding of its architecture. I even teach Rhino 3D and Grasshopper through YouTube videos and use Grasshopper for research on iterations, aggregation, and the optimization process, which I then attempt to implement sustainably. These experiences have enhanced my concentration, organizational and creative abilities, and teamwork skills, making me confident that my computer and organizational skills and problem-solving tactics will contribute to the success of your design team.
