Before the funtion “Gotcha“ openned, this input method is just a normol input method editor. There are Traditional Chinese keyboard, English keyboard, handwriting input, and voice input.

Click the icon “ “ to switch the editor into “Gotcha” mode. User can type any related keyword in the searching bar. The results are ranked by the numbers of corresponding keywords. Once the user find the object that he searches for, just simply click the picture, then the picture will become to the typing word show up in the typing bar.

Users can use all the input methods to typing the keywords. If the user cannot find the result that he is talking about, he can click the “ “ icon to google it. User can also press the picture, it will read the name of the object for the user. Gotcha is not only a input method editor, it’s also can be used as a individual application. Patients can use it for daily trainig by themselves.

Except the typing methods, we found that sometimes the users don’t know how to describe the object. For this situation, we also provide a drawing pad to the user. When they finish drawing, it can be simply sent as a picture to someone to let them understand.
