A ground up new construction Architecture and Design Project for a 4 floor, 357,000 Square Foot Research and Development Building. Shaped like a backwards ‘E’, the plan of the main spine lent itself to the offshoot ‘Neighborhood’ collaboration spaces, while the labs met the spine on the three streets of entry. Request by client for a change of heart design with attracting a millennial culture brought concept ideas for open office to include use of vibrant whimsical color, creative graphics, collaboration seating opportunities, and shared open break room areas. Choice of bronze storefront mullions added to warmth of a rustic outdoor feeling. Labs introduced additional color as well.
