Huadong [East China] is one of the most important economic regions along the coast of China, with abundant natural resources, comfortable climate, and dense population. In the past 20 years, the entire Yangtze River Delta region has formed an unprecedented urbanization development process by taking advantage of the economic dividends radiated by Shanghai. To this day, East China, as one of the most important urban settlements in China, is still seeking new development opportunities. In the current development of urbanization, East China has differentiated different urban functions based on different geographical conditions and resource allocation. The differentiation within the region gradually becomes significant. At the same time, the neglect of green environment caused by only focusing on indicators in the process of urbanization will restrict future urban development. At the same time, due to the influx of migrant workers from other provinces, reasonable living space has also become an urgent demand.

MAIN PURPOSE

The purpose of the project is to embed and use the building to restore the green in the process of urbanization, so that the green plants can really play a role in forming the self-circulation of the urban environment. As the cornerstone of the green expansion, improve the ecological appearance and environmental system of the city. In the current process of urban expansion, it is part of the secondary urban center to share the pressure of the core urban area. When the future urban expansion tends to be saturated, as a peripheral urban agglomeration, it surrounds the core urban area to improve the environmental problems caused by urbanization and industrialization. OASIS is a community model that will grow by itself, providing super city residents with a collective housing method. It provides residents with ample space for activities and is accompanied by greenery to better feel the nature. It provides different residential modules for families with different numbers of members, meeting the demands of families from single to three generations living in one house. The agricultural land around the building can guarantee self-sufficiency. With the increase of residents, the oasis can also continue to rise. When the urbanization process progresses to the area where the OASIS is located, it is also the time for the oasis to expand outward and transform the land and environment. The structure of the OASIS is composed of units, and the living space in the units comes from simple modluar elements.Modules can make the building more efficient to be built, and leave a high possibility for expansion in the future. This is the embodiment of the OASIS itself can grow and adapt. Today’s super cities in the Yangtze River Delta are expanding rapidly. But how to maintain the sustainable development of a city under limited land resources after 20-30 years is the question that OASIS tries to answer. This plan is not limited to Eastern China, but can also provide ideas for all future cities that fall into development constraints

The project was to renovate MAYFAIR CINEMA on HIGH STREET, building on the original structure and designing it as a multifunctional building consisting of a theatre, cinema, restaurant, meeting rooms and library. As it is located right in the heart of the High Street, close to the main street, it will attract visitors to the area and make use of it, not only to bring more economic benefits to the area, but also to provide jobs for people who lost their jobs under the covide-19, to improve the well-being of the population and to maintain social security. It would also provide a comfortable resting area for visitors to the area and a relaxing meeting place for local residents.

The zones are extended and reduced accordingly to create more variation in elevations and internal spaces, making them more distinct and user-friendly.

Reshape the building to blend in better with its surroundings and give better views of the interior.

Use different designs to get more openings and shape the building, allow natural lights come into the interior space.

The windows are designed to let in light according to the variation of the interior space, creating more variation in light to create an interior atmosphere.

Under the influence of mass production and globalization in the last century, modern cities have gradually expanded in size and scale. In some specific cases, it is necessary to carry out all-round communication and management of the urban population. The project collects urban environmental and social factors as the constraints of spatial organization to explore and generate a unique spatial architecture (genetic algorithm model) for the selected site as a spatial place for centralized communication, management and operation. This project uses this algorithm to study several influencing factors, and selects three venues with the most balanced values to build installation art.

The project site is located at 2380 Marion Dr in the Sunrise Manor area in the northeast of Las Vegas. Income, crime rates, and living standards are at the end of each block. Therefore, this project chooses to design community-based affordable housing in this area to provide shelter for residents living here and improve their living conditions. This project introduces the concept of modular buildings, which are combined in different arrangements to form different building groups and create more spaces in the community. While connecting with the surrounding environment of the site, it also provides sufficient internal space. Privacy space, providing residents with more comfortable living conditions. At the same time, a variety of room types are provided inside the building to better serve the needs of different people. Service spaces such as store lounges are also designed inside, which can not only enrich residents' lives, but also create some employment opportunities, stabilize and promote local economic development.

As an architectural typology, art galleries can take many forms. One universal constant, however, is the prevalence of the concept of travel. The gallery is one of the few buildings that allows the public to roam freely at any speed and in any direction. An art gallery can be described as a series of experiences through a continuum of various spaces; a place where you can experience a range of emotions and possibly learn something along the way. The project aims to design a dedicated peripheral, controversial and new art pioneer gallery for Liverpool, providing them with spaces for small and large art. Compared with Liverpool's style of small galleries, this project is larger in scale, and while placing more artworks, it can also provide visitors with a more interesting and rich viewing experience.
