PROLOGUE
Painting, to me, is not just a way to express art, but a dialogue with my inner self—a release of emotion. From the moment I first held a paintbrush, I was captivated by its power. Whether it’s the blend of colors, the smooth flow of lines, or the artfulness of composition, painting opens up a world of limitless creativity and imagination for me. It shows me the infinite possibilities that art can bring.
I came across a photograph last year. It was an image of a boy with a head injury, his face wrapped in white bandages with visible bloodstain. His eyes, full of despair, had lost the spirit that belong to a child. That moment shook me deeply. I learned that every day, hundreds of innocent children across the world lose their lives, their homes, their families—all because of war. The weight of that emotions was overwhelming and I knew I had to express them through arts. That’s how my portfolio WAR AND PEACE was born, painted with my favorite brush.
I dream of a world free of war, a world that gives back childhood to every child. They deserve the chance to grow up happy and carefree, surrounded by their loved ones, with the promise of a peaceful future.

Shadows of Conflict The Courage to Defend Vision of Peace
PART
I Shadows of Conflict
PART I delves into the destructive nature of war to showcase the darkness, loss, and devastation that arise from human conflict.
This is a portrait of a real boy, who was full of happiness and innocence. He lived happily with his parents in a big city. He enjoyed reading, handcrafting, and drawing. But one day, a bomb shattered his peaceful world. His father joined the army and never returned, and his mother was killed in the bombing. Slowly, the smile vanished from his once joyful face. Every day more than 2,000 children are injured or skilled in wars around the world. While I know this painting alone can’t stop the violence, I hope it can be a powerful reminder to the leaders of warring countries to protect the innocent children from horrors of conflict.
The trap of desire
The little mouse is wondering where he can find food. Suddenly, a piece of cheese falls from above. He wants to grab it, so he leans his body out of the hole. But what he doesn’t know is that a cat’s paw is sneaking toward him. Like the mouse, we are often unaware of the consequences that follow unchecked desires, which lead us into traps that bring harm and destruction. Therefore, we should always be aware of and take responsibility for the consequences of our actions.

The space battleship of Gamilas
I became a fan of the sci-fi animation Space Battleship Yamato when I was in 3rd grade. The ship in this piece belongs to Gamilas, an interstellar empire. In the year 2199, this powerful empire sought to conquer Earth. Despite humanity's best efforts, every defense plan failed. In June 2199, Gamilas is launching their final assault, and the survival of earth depends on this critical battle.
The space battle
In the year 2199, a devastating war raged between Earth and Gamilas. Countless lives were lost, and many more were injured. Warships that took years to construct were obliterated in mere moments. The cost of the war, both in lives and resources, is beyond calculation. Through this painting, I want to send a message to the rulers of nations who initiate war: Look at the innocent citizens sacrificed in the conflict. Stop the war!

The Gamilas ship in dimension fault
This is one of Gamilas' finest mass-produced warships, but during a space jump, it got trapped in a dimensional fault. Unable to escape due to a broken engine, the ship was stuck indefinitely. Suddenly, another stranded ship appeared and proposed to work together. By repairing the Gamilas ship’s main engine, they created a powerful spatial disturbance to tear a massive hole in the fabric of space and both ships successfully escaped from the dimensional trap.
PART II The Courage to Defend
PART II highlights the courage, determination, and strength needed to defend peace and face adversity.

The angel who saves the world
In a peaceful city by the sea, the residents lived harmoniously without the need for police, because there was no crime, no theft, only peace. Unfortunately, one day war broke out and bombs rained down on the city. At this critical moment, an angel appeared and used his own body to shield the city from the bombs. I hope that in the real world, there are people like this courageous angel who can bring an end to war, then the world will remain beautiful forever.
The earth’s hope
This painting is also inspired by the sci-fi animation Space Battleship Yamato . In the year 2203, a civilization known as Gatolandis sought to annihilate human civilization. In response, a fleet of spaceships called "The Yamanami Fleet" rose to defend Earth. They are humanity’s last hope.
Peacekeeper
The man in this picture is named Kodai, a character from the sci-fi animation Space Battleship Yamato . He is a skilled commander with a strong sense of responsibility. Kodai led his troops courageously against alien invaders. As a true peacekeeper, his life is dedicated to defending peace.

Tiger, king of forest
This is the tiger I created through printmaking. I started by carving out the tiger’s grooves, then I applied paint over them. After that, I pressed a sheet of paper on top to reveal a beautiful print. I chose to create a tiger because it is a symbol of courage. I admire qualities like bravery, wisdom, and strength, and the tiger is a prefect representation of these traits. This is why I’m excited to bring it to life!
PART III Vision of Peace
Part III presents the vision of peace in a thriving world of tranquility, possibility and growth.
The perfect world
In the future, human will build a highly developed city, where innovation and freedom flourish. In this city, nothing is impossible. The United Nations represent global unity, while futuristic trains and vehicles connect people across this thriving metropolis. In this city, there is no crime or need for police; the only guiding principle is the kindness in people's hearts. It's a place where compassion, peace, and progress create a harmonious society.

We are family
This painting explores the harmonious coexistence of diverse natural elements: human hands, tiger claws, birds, fish, and a lush array of plants. Each element contributes to a vision of unity and interdependence between humanity and nature. In a world where human actions often disrupt this delicate balance, Harmony serves as a reminder of our shared place within the natural world—not as its masters, but as members. Inspired by the perspective of an astronaut who described Earth as beautiful, amiable, yet fragile, I hope to encourage reflection on our responsibility to protect the environment. Nature has gifted us with extraordinary treasures, and it is our duty to protect and cherish them. Only by embracing our role as guardians of nature can we achieve a true harmony where people, plants, and animals flourish together on this beautiful planet. We are family.
The Beautiful lakeside in autumn
This is the first time I tried pointillism, and painting this scene was a fun experience. Pointillism is a unique technique that can play tricks on our eyes. Up close, the painting appears as countless tiny dots without clear details of the landscape. But when you step back, a beautiful and vibrant landscape emerges. First, I sketched the outlines of the trees and mountains. Then, I carefully applied the colors with small dots, a process that requires a lot of patience. Finally, I added the shadows and highlights. After that, a beautiful pointillism painting was complete.

The ship of star
The vast, mysterious universe always has hidden corners that we cannot find. In one of those places, a ship is about to start another mysterious journey. It drifts through the ocean of stars, “Splash! Splash.” The oars gently glide across the stardust, and you never know who is rowing the boat…

The crazy plants
I let the gouache flow naturally on the paper. The pigments then formed a plant kingdom. In this wild and imaginative world, nothing is impossible. Look! There are two pots of plants, each believing in themselves and striving to grow. We must believe in ourselves too, because when we do, others will also respect and support us.
I asked the bird, “Why did you leave this sky?”
The bird said, “I'm afraid of a bullet piercing through my chest.”
I asked the tree, “Why are you so haggard?”
The tree sighed, “Human blood, it flows, and it makes me sad.”
I asked the flower, “Why are you always withered?”
The flower wept, “Because it is tears that water me.”
I asked the grassland, “Where is your green?”
Grassland said, “I have been scorched by war.”
I asked the house, “Why are you so desperate?”
The house murmured, “I'm not home anymore.. For the injured can never return.”
I asked the child, “What do you dream to be?”
The child replied, “Grow up first.”
I asked the mother, “Do you have any wish?”
She quietly said, “I wish the bullet had eyes, all toward me. Don't hurt my baby.”
A kid then came, “Will we blue sky come back?”
But I had no answer. I turned to the peace dove, The peace dove said, “Isn’t that your human thing? I bring hope, but the change is up to you.”
