Canvas Residential Building

The main purpose of this project is to study the method of construction and waterproofing by solving the problem in our design. This project required a model built according to the construction method in the real world. This residence has a steel frame structure which makes more indoor space available to residents on this narrow site. The ground floor have an open garage. The railing and sunshade systems are based on sailboat - wood, metal and canvas. The second and third floors have balconies for people to enjoy the outdoor space during good weather. The third floor has an upward bi-folding frame structure covered with canvas for sunshade. The interior space and balcony lighting can be change by adjusting the sunshade panels.
