01 TUTTI: A PLAYFUL & MUSICAL EXPERIENCE tutti is an interactive social experience that allows users to simultaneously collect color and sound memories in a playful way. It is comprised of three main components. A soft elastic control ball, different color camera modules each with its own shape geometry - organized in eight color hues and a charging station. The concept now in the prototyping and testing phase aims to engage users in both entertaining interactive experiences as well as serve to support therapeutic needs.

The project stems from the idea of building a bridge between reality and virtual through color & materials design. Taking color as the starting point, and using interactive design as the medium and means, this paper discusses how to create an abstract experience atmosphere through simple design elements.

C O N CEPT OF -RE The subject of the entire project is called Re. Re can be understood as a prefix and can add after the words like rethink, redo, repeat. And it’s also the main concept of my work. As the trend and culture evolve, we begin a wonderful cycle. People began chasing back to some of the things they have experienced, redefine some of the known rules, and new thinking of what they have never thought. This is -RE.

Sensory Reunion People are craving 360-degree sensory stimulation to invigorate their physicality or engage more wholly in digital experiences. Experience is the new luxury. The more people become conscious of the negative side effect of excessive digital consumption, the more they will choose real-life immersive sensorial experiences. This trend leads to intentionally designed workspaces that can be successfully measured.
Pride Refind Millennials have a completely new set of values, they want committed brands with authentic products. Natural, simpler, more local and if possible small, as small as you can. An effective creative strategy requires the ability to adapt new creative materials across the different touchpoints and targets of a brand, but on top of that, it requires localizing those assets across the distinct geographies, cultures and communities reached by the brand.

Gender Redefine
20
Women buy or influence the purchase of 85 percent of all vehicles. With increased access to higher education and more women entering the labour force, women are more empowered than before. The higher spending power of women is driving the rise of the She-conomy. With the recent success of companies like The Honest Company and Thinx, we’re seeing a new rise of womencentered innovation: products and services designed for women by women, based on the pain points women experience in daily life.

03 SP O N SO R ED ST UDIO: HONDA Honda Studio was a sponsored project where we were asked to apply the CMF with an exterior designer and an interior designer. We chose Acura 2025 as our subject for research and design.
C O NCEPT O F N EX Acura is Honda's luxury brand, modeled for users younger. We based our divergent thinking on 2025 as the background, set a new user group Revel, and accordingly carried out a series of material research. Finally, I came up with two sets of color schemes and corresponding pattern schemes.

Buddhist Gals China’s post-1990s generation has discovered its own social identity as “Buddhist youths”. Buddhist Gal's life stands for peace and nature. They have their willing to pursue their rights but not radical. Most of them are independent, optimistic and positive. These group of people focus on their physical and mental health and are willing to spend their energy and money to maintain them. Buddhist Gals in pursuit of the exquisite but also implicit aesthetics, they prefer soft and gentle muted colors, natural and comfortable materials, and nostalgia design collocation.

Social Setting Furniture is reframed as a spatial attraction to draw people together. Unconventional shapes and access points encourage furniture to be used in the centre of a room, rather than against a wall, while interactive elements inspire fun encounters with everyday objects.
DESIGN CONCEPT
The concept of Project 2 is to combine the elements of the tentacle with the idea of embrace to create a piece of social furniture that is both entertaining and functional. The entire piece of furniture will consist of a three-story structure, namely: the bottom support layer, the luminescent layer, and the foam tentacle layer. The bottom support layer has holes with geometric shapes, making it easy for the user to adjust the underlying form freely. The cushions at the top will consist of a velvet-wrapped memory sponge, ensuring that the material is soft while having excellent support and skin affinity.

I used laser cutting on the transparent acrylic board by the illustrator file. Then I used the heat gun to heat it and bend it out of shape. The entire component is made of silicone rubber. I first use the handle of the brush to flip the mold, and then pour the silicone into the mold. After I had these soft little tentacles, I glued them to the silicone backplane that had been done before with gel glue.

FINAL DESIGN
Unfortunately, I was not able to add the lights to the prototype test in this time of production. I've considered using led light bands, but I'd prefer it to be a whole lighting system, not a fragmented one.
