A note on T ea m Empower ment

• The term empowerment is one of the much heard term but it is least understood by any person. Some are totally not aware of this term while others use this as their management trick making their employees to feel that they are superior but in reality it is a different scene. • The true essence of this term is to share the power and responsibility from that individual who holds the power and responsibility.


• It is one of the best ways to let every employee of the organization to come out with his/ her innovative ideas, decision and judgment, which in earlier days lied with the hands of managers and other senior executives. • By this way it gives confidence to employees to develop more driven tasks and to be highly dedicated towards the company that they are working with.


• T eam empow er ment starts with confidence and encouraging activities. Employees are trained to play more active roles during working hours and after working hours too. • Employees are thought to grow as active players rather than been passive players. By this way it allows individual to experience the benefits of synergy, ideas and possession.


• When it comes for generating ideas, an empowered organization will permit two heads to work as a one rather than a single brain performing every task given. • When every single employee feels that they are greatly empowered then they would surely desire to share ideas and thoughts which will later result for greater achievements.


• T eam empow er ment helps individuals to overcome the personal differences. This would further result in creating synergy and working together environment so as to achieve the set goals. For instance if one person has any thought or suggestion to discuss, then every person around will jump to offer assistance or additional ideas which will help in improving the original idea. • This kind of team empow er ment will not only wipe away personal divergences and proficient jealousies, but it will also allow organizations to achieve greater profits. This will in turn result in withdrawing more salary and receiving other kind of benefits.


• T eam empow er ment gives each worker a feeling that he/ she is a part of something in organization. Whenever a project or plan is formulated that particular person would be called, who was the real person behind such ideas. • This practice would develop a feeling of ownership in them and it will further result in generating more innovative ideas.



• T eam empow er ment will ask each and every person to be committed, be confident, and fully involve themselves in every project. • By doing this it is of sure that the company would successfully achieve its goal and it will emerge out as a winning company. • Delegation of powers and responsibility permits employees to be more responsible towards the task assigned and accomplish it in timely manner.


• T eam empow er ment is necessary as it pays back to employees who were really dedicated and were working hard to achieve the set targets and goals. • This will in turn ask employee to show more interest towards the future task assigned.
