Our various audits revealed the priority areas to support are: Skills confidences and competences are not necessarily equal, especially when transferring from recreation context into educational Skills audit highlighted a diversity in ability, there is no obvious progression or competence by age or stage for many areas of digital iteracy Information literacies in many FE students are very weak VLE skills for developing active learning online are low Outputs to date 1 x OCN delivered and evaluated to students: Search Engine & Online Information Skills 1 x OCN delivered and evaluated to staff: Structuring a Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) - Moodle 2 x Further student OCN units approved by OCN WM
