Within the Navajo Nation, Antelope Point has become a thriving tourist destination despite the lack of overnight accommodations. This issue and the current Navajo housing crisis is an opportunity to create a new housing experience through the development of an environmental educational center and terraced housing complex.
Consisting of permanent family housing and seasonal overnight stays, the new community complex will establish a cultural and educational lakeside experience guided by indigenous leaders. The education center includes an educational complex featuring classrooms, office space, an exhibition hall, an outdoor amphitheater, and vendor space. To the right are 4 rows of terraced housing. It provides close-knit family housing and each home has an adjacent rental unit. People who come and stay at the education center will receive a guided lake powell experience by an indigenous family in an effort to teach the public about the Navajo culture and the social and economic issues that are unknown to the wider audience.

This project is located on Dray Walk., at the intersection of Woodseer St. and Brick Lane in London, England. My initial research aimed to learn about the area, and the people, and uncover the matters of concern.
During the COVID-19 global pandemic, specifically in July of 2021, protests by locals from the Bangladeshi community began as a fight back against a proposal to develop the Truman Brewery into a shopping center and commercial building. Many times, "renewing" areas of a cultured city means displacing those who have lived there the longest. Therefore, my building is meant to create a place that invests in the local communities.

The El Paso site is in El Segundo Barrio, one of Texas’s oldest neighborhoods
Because of its longevity, the neighborhood radiates its history through buildings, murals, and people, creating a melting pot for the Mexican American culture. Hacienda High School aims to give families and their children the option to attend a school that will preserve the history of Mexican American culture and help students learn ways to keep their own cultures alive. The facility will serve as an educational institute and an events center to foster community relationships and solidify neighborhood interactions

The Neue Nationalgalerie designed by Mies van der Rohe is a landmark for modern architecture in Berlin David Chipperfield said, “Once people surrender to its limitations It’s surprising how well the building works ” By accepting the limitations created by the glass and steel gallery, I decided to build on top to prevent any disruption to the existing building and give it a floating appearance The building includes the main concert hall, a rooftop nature/ bird observation deck, classrooms for music classes, meeting rooms, and other applicable programmatic features. It will provide local artists, musicians, and the community at large a space to create, perform, and gather. Having a venue like this accessible to low-income families, schools, and those interested in music and the arts fosters social interaction, economic opportunity, and historical/cultural learning opportunities. Mies’s gallery will be the bridge that connects visitors to the past, present, and future by facilitating interaction between static art, dynamic art, and natural art
