Exhibition Curation in RISD Museum Gelman Gallery, Providence RI, 2020 Jan to March

Collaborative work among three curators and 32 artists from RISD and Brown, the exhibition is a response of frustration from the lack of canon in art institution which does not reflect the diversity of student demographics. The gallery provides space for alternative canons through the narratives of home, colonization, gender/racial identity, and local craft and practices. My main role as a curator was to work with the artists and initiate an intellectual conversation on our current academic status and how we can create changes and make our pedagogy more inclusive.
