here was a time!!! There has been a time! This is the time when you should modify the way you spend time with your family. For a matter of understanding this perspective of mine, can I ask you if you remember your great memories spent with your parents or not? If yes, can you recollect if any of those are digital? Yes, those are only a few. Isn’t it? As our youngsters get older during this very digital world, with online consequences that aren't entirely clear, parents got to up their digital savvy. The innocent days of the web are over. What goes on the web stays on the web and may be used against you and your children. Remember that safe digital parenting is more important than sharenting, and it's still your job to line an example for your children to learn from. If you don’t look after their online safety and reputation, how will they know to worry for it for themselves once they grow up? Please discuss with your children about online safety and digital citizenship. Teach your children to consider before they post, and confirm you are doing it too. Learn to invest at least that much time that you wish to ponder upon your social media accounts, with your children. I am definitely not trying to pen social media as if it’s only an evil; however, consider the history of every devil as a raised evil. There are so many learnings that a child gets from parents which aren’t omnipresent. And, even if those are; the level of impact definitely is not as glam as getting to venture out with your parents. So, this is your step 1 to make a move on walking away from the pebbled pathway on the title of Sharenting and walk towards a smooth transition of step 1 of Safe Digital Parenting.
