A special day in my life

Internet search (Google mostly) + webIn this unit we work together with Social editing (How to link useful sites) + Text Science TS, SS learn about their partners' editing: how to make brochures and pdf files hometowns and regions. They share links (pdf creator). More videoediting and available on the Internet, and then write uploading to free videolibraries (Youtube, and edit their own resources. Vimeo, Archive, …)

CONTENT

The SS have to talk to their partners and then write about a special day: best/bad day at school; holidays; … or just any unforgettable day.

Both teams prepare a 3' video for the eTwinning Service to show how our project is and what we have done so far

Christmas Time (I)

SS share with their partners how they celebrate this special time. Jablonna SS are first to show this through different Christmas presented to their friends in Spain. Ibaialde SS write about traditions in their country.

After Christmas time Ibaialde SS try to correspond their friends in Poland and write compositions about some local traditions: New Near's fancy dresses, family gatherings, and finally make some short videos where they speak about their personal experiences

Music and what it means to me

ACTIVITY NAME

MiniDictionaries

SS prepare a Karaoke version of a song they like. They work in trios, and after Upload to school webpage editing the videos, they are uploaded to a repository where their colleagues in the partner school can reach them. Then they Grading the productions (OpenOffice calc) + Slideshare judge the productions, and finally, in a live Award Ceremony, the members of the jury Editing of Diplomas (Text editor + pdf name the winners and they receive their creator + Issuu) diplomas. Finally some SS tell us what Videoconference for Award ceremony music means to them (SKYPE)

CONTENT SS, organized in pairs with a student from each school, create a short dictionary about a topic they have freely agreed. The dictionary is in the three languages used by SS (English, Spanish and Polish). Once prepared, and approved by the TS all works are offered to their partners through Moodle.
