Westin Lagunamar Cancun Assessments, Design, Preconstruction & CM as Owners Agent • Assessed the site for MEP and Architectural Code Issues in February 2014 • Began Design of Remediation Solution May 2014 • Began Precon Services including work to assist client with GC bidders list in June 2014
• Began CM Services in July 2014 and will be onsite through March 15, 2015. • CH2M CM Team has shaved 7 months off the schedule & kept the client’s budget on track. • This project is now the new “model” for how to execute in Mexico for Starwood and set the stage for the Los Cabos sole sourced hurricane rebuild project.

Began work on site with an MEP evaluation for Starwood Vacation Ownership in July 2014

Hurricane Odele damaged resort in September 2014

Began discussions with the Starwood Hotels to assess needs for reconstruction and remodel of the closed resort in November 2014. Work won and complete in Jan 2015.

February 2015 won $3.38MM Design A/E of record for Starwood Hotels.
•
February 2015 won $130K Project Definition Study to convert the hotel into a Time Share property. Work awarded separately and will kick off in March 2015
•
Follow on work to convert the site to Vacation ownership - $4MM +/fee

The current scope of work will define the systems upgrades, work strategy, major equipment and long lead items and will be the basis for the Capital Planning approvals for the project.

This project will baseline a strategy to create a “Just in Time” path to deliver rooms to the sales function of SVO as needed.

Follow on work will include design, CM and other services and is likely to lead to $5MM in fee.

Education City – Doha, Qatar Concept and Scheme Design Employers’ Engineer • 7000-person-capacity, multipurpose convention and exhibition center located within Qatar's prestigious Education City campus • Key element of totally integrated education environment, and will be the largest in the Middle East. • As Executive architect, developed the concept to a full construction package comprising fully detailed design drawings and contract documents.
