Reporting to directly to the board of directors, I was responsible for the management of all aspects of the NSW training business which included strategy development, budgets, P&L management and management of ten full-time staff plus eight trainers. Responsibilities included human resources, recruitment, sales team management, marketing strategy, compliance to ensure CTI met ASQA Quality Framework standards and overall customer experience for the institute. Achievements include the launch of the new online training materials for students, streamlining of the student management process from enrolment to completion and achieving growth target for the business in my first quarter. The NSW State Manager’s role was made redundant at the end of March 2016.

CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE & OPERATIONS MANAGER, AUSTRALIAN INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT (AIM) — MAY 11 to sep 15 Initially hired to lead a business review project of the established AIM bookshop business at a time when traditional books faced their biggest challenge from eBooks. I was soon recognised not just for my analytical skills but also for my change management skills, natural leadership skills. Key responsibilities during my time at AIM were the management of several key third party providers including catering, contract facilitators, facilities management, and travel providers. I was also responsible for the national scheduling for each of the campuses to not only support the budget but to maximise each campuses occupancy . Achievements during my time include successful projects including launch of electronic training delivery for students and facilitators, implementation of Salesforce and Netsuite, launch of two new campuses plus the relocation of AIM’s flagship campus from North Sydney to Circular Quay and event managing a number of open house events with up to 900 attendees.

While at Gispac I was responsible for managing supplier relationships with a large number of suppliers located in China, Taiwan, Indonesia and also locally for the production of many of Australia’s largest retail brands including Myer, Country Road, Nuance group, Jurlique and many more. Other responsibilities included developing procurement strategy, team leadership, supplier negations, quality control, import and export operations, development of environmental sustainability policy and management of P&L. In the seven years I was with Paramount Pictures the Australian business grew significantly to become one of the top three home entertainment (DVD & Blu-Ray) suppliers. My responsibilities included management of in-house production teams co-ordinating bill or materials (BOM) involving print, censorship, production masters, special packaging and promotional items. In addition I performed a variety of RFT’s for goods and services worth up to $30M, managed third party warehousing, distribution and manufacturing partners. Achievements during my time included Employee of the Year in 2003.
