Game Overview Total War Warhammer II is a strategy

game centered in the Warhammer world with the campaign focusing in on five continents they include Ulthuan, Naggaroth, The Southlands, Lustria and Nehekhara. On each continent there is a diverse mix of races to play as this includes The High Elves, The Dark Elves, The Skaven, The Lizardmen, The Tomb Kings and The Vampire Coast with races such as men, orcs, the undead and the Forces of Chaos spread throughout the campaign map. The game offers a campaign that takes center on the five continents, hero quests that allow you to fight battles as the hero’s of the game and multiplayer. The game is an expansion of Total War Warhammer with a third installation in the making to cover the whole Warhammer world. The game overs six major races you can play as in multiplayer and in the campaign with twenty-two different leaders with their own unique abilities in battle and on the campaign.

The Campaign Setting In

the campaign there are currently twenty-two unique hero’s to choose from, each with their own bonuses as well as unique units. Each hero has their own starting location of the campaign map and has a unique quest line to complete the campaign. Campaign Map

The Vortex in Game

In the campaign The High Elves, The Dark Elves, The Skaven and The Lizardmen all have to compete for control of the Vortex which is located in Ulthuan to unlock its power and use it for their own purpose. To get control of the Vortex they each must hunt for stones and tablets that grant them power to use the winds of magic and secure it in the final battle for the Vortex. The Tomb Kings campaign is to hunt for the Nine Books of Nagash which are spread out the world and once they own five of the nine and control the Black Pyramid they win the campaign. The Vampire Coast campaign you must acquire the Star Metal Harpoon and win the Battle of the Eternal Tides.

The High Elves The High Elves originate from the island

continent of Ulthuan, their military consist of highly disciplined troops with mages, dragons and eagles to aid them. Overall the High Elves military focus is quality over quantity. Their Military focuses on heavy infantry and heavy bow units. The High Elves are an ancient group and have very long lifespans only the Lizardmen could compare in lifespan. The High Elves have four playable factions in the Vortex campaign.

Island-Continent of Ulthuan

Tyrion on the battlefield is a legendary melee specialist and leads the Lothern in the campaign located on the island continent of Ulthuan. Teclis, Tyrion’s twin brother on the battlefield is a powerful spellcaster not to be put in combat positions. Teclis leads The Order of Loremasters which are located on the Turtle Isles off the coast of Lustria. Alarielle is another powerful spellcaster who leads Avelorn located on an island in Ulthuan. Alarielle’s power changes with the control of Ulthuan. Alith Anar, the shadow king is an archer who excels in combat as well. Alith Anar leads Nagarythe located in the desolate area of Naggarond.

The Dark Elves After

being exiled from Ulthuan the Dark elves reside in the cold desolate land of Naggaroth. The Dark Elf military consist of small skilled disciplined troops which are accompanied by hydras. Throughout the campaign their economy evolves around slaves and blood sacrifices to the Gods. A main feature that The Dark Elves have are the Black Arcs which are ships that can bombard the coast in combat if in range and recruit units straight from the ship.

Malekith, Witch King of Naggarond is a melee and spellcaster specialist in battle. Naggarond is located far north on the continent of Naggaroth in the frozen tundra. Morathi is a spellcaster specialist in battle and is the mother of Malekith , she leads the Cult of Pleasure located in the desolate mountain region on Naggaroth. Crone Hellebron is a melee-specialist who leads Har Ganeth in the furthest northern territories of Naggaroth. She can summon the death night which provides bonuses in combat for her whole army.

Lokhir Fellheart is a melee dualist who specializes in one on one combat, he leads the Blessed Dread. The Blessed Dread are originally from Naggaroth but currently live off the coast of Lustria.

The Skaven The

Skaven are mutant rat men who live underground below the world, they fight in overwhelming numbers with artillery and mutants backing them up. Their cities appear as ruins on the campaign map until they are discovered. Their dwellings extend on all continents except the continent island Ulthuan. They live in underground cities beneath the ruins of previous cities. They need food for them to be able to grow and develope. Their units are ussually lightly armoured and their strategy is normally a hit and run tactic with overwhelming numbers to win battles.

Queek Headtaker is a melee specialist on the battlefield and leads Clan Mors located in the Southern Jungles on the continent of The Southlands. Lord Skrolk is a melee unit who also dips into magic, he leads Clan Pestilens. Clan Pesilens is located deep in the jungles of Lustria. Tretch Craventail is a melee expert who specializes in fighting against large numbers, he leads Clan Rictus. Clan Rictus is located on the desolate continent of Naggaroth. Ikit Claw leads Clan Skyre and their located in the mountains of Lustria. They are known for arcane and dark engineering. Skaven Mage

The Lizardmen The

Lizardmen are a collection of coldblooded reptiles that live in temple-like cities in the jungle. Lizardmen have a strong line of heavy infantry with mages and dinosaurs to support their units. The Lizardmen live in the warm jungle parts of the world mostly in Lustria and the Southlands. They mostly specialize in heavy infantry and magic, they gain bonuses from having a web of cities connected with good public order.

Lord Mazdamundi in battle is a mage and not suited for melee combat, he leads the Hexoatl located in the far northern parts of Lustria near Naggaroth. Kroq Gar is a melee specialist in both fighting a duel and in large combat situations, he leads The Last Defenders. The Last Defenders are on the far western side of The Southlands.

The Tomb Kings Previously

human the Tomb Kings ruled a land known as Nehekhara before being destroyed by the Necromancer Nagash and his vampires causing the dead to rise. Their armies consist of skeleton warriors that mostly depend on heavy chariots and giant animated stone and bone giants. They reside in dead cites that are located deep in the deserts led by mummified Kings. The Tomb Kings armies are fielded with very weak skeleton troops so fighting with them is difficult but their monsters and heavy infantry make up for it.

Settra the Imperishable is a melee spellcaster who leads the Khemri. The Khemri are located in Nehekhara deep in the desert. High Queen Khalida leads the Court of Lybaras, she is a melee specialist. The Court of Lybaras is located in Lustria off the southwest coast. Grand Hierophant Khatep is a liche priest who focuses on magic spells, he leads the Exiles of Nehek. They are located in the mountanous far western region of Naggaroth. Arkhan the Black is a powerful necromancer who leads the Followers of Nagash. They are located in the far western parts of Nehekhara.

The Vampire Coast Undead

pirates who live along the coastline of Lustria, their army makeup consists of undead pirates armed with cutlasses and guns. They are supported by cannons and animated giants. With their major ability being that their ships act as cities being able to recruit units and expand the ship with a unique building chain. A huge campaign ability the Vampire Coast have is that when they capture a city instead of taking it they have the ability to establish a cove which allows them to not have direct control of the city but gives them a certain amount of income and unique buildings.

Luthor Harkon leads the Vampire Coast which is a coastline on the continent of Lustria, is a melee and ranged specialist. Count Noctilus leads the Dreadfleat which is located in the Galleons Graveyard, in the middle of the Great Ocean, he was a former Von Carstien. Arenessa Saltspite leads the Pirates of Sartosa located off the coast of Ultuan, she has no legs but two swordfish bills as them. Cylostra Direfin is a phantom who’s ship went down in a storm she leads The Drowned and they are located on the far southern coast of Naggaroth.
