Yes, tournaments such as the Kabaddi world cup should be held in Canada. It should be recognized that Kabaddi sports clubs are a pillar in communities across Canada and have been instrumental in helping spread the popularity of Kabaddi and reviving sport in general. Messages It is always good to have friendly relations and sports is one of great opportunities to defuse the tension and to build a health relation. In this summer I have seen this with my own eyes in Calgary that even though there was very high competition aspirations between Pakistani and Indian Kabaddi teams but at the same time everyone was happy and respectful, cheering for both teams. By playing on the world stage, our Canadian players have shown that there is very good chance to popularize Kabaddi in Canada and as a matter of fact it is already popular in new Canadians. Hosting a world cup is an honour, but I also like to see more and more local players playing this sport. Once again, thank you and I hope the above will assist you in completing you special edition Kabaddi. Devinder Shory, M.P.
