You may wonder, We’re already paying tuition why is an additional gift needed? The answer is simple: tuition alone does not cover the full cost of a Sacred Heart education Our authentically Catholic, proudly Ursuline school relies on the generosity of our entire community to bridge this gap. Small class sizes, exceptional teachers, innovative programs, and the special experiences that make Sacred Heart the cherished place you send your child each day are all made possible through the collective support of alumni, faculty, staff, friends, foundations, grandparents, parents of alumni, and YOU our proud and engaged current parents.

THE SACRED HEART ANNUAL FUND
The Sacred Heart Annual Fund is the school’s #1 giving priority each and every year, as it impacts each student, every day. Gifts to the Annual Fund are put to immediate use in the current school year, addressing the greatest needs of each school from program enhancements and faculty development to tuition assistance, mission-focused initiatives, arts integration, athletic improvements, and much more.
Families can designate their gift to the school of their choice or distribute it across the entire Sacred Heart campus, ensuring their contribution makes the most meaningful impact.
Launching in the fall, the Annual Fund is a tax-deductible way for families to support not only their own children but also every student pursuing a Sacred Heart education. By participating, families help elevate the collective Sacred Heart experience.
We aim for 100% parent participation during October, encouraging families to make the Annual Fund their top giving priority each year. More than 2,000 members of our community including trustees, alumni, faculty and staff, grandparents, parents of alumni, and friends contribute to the Annual Fund. Our goal for 2024-25 is to raise $1.2 million.

Over two weeks in October, we ask all parents across our campus to unite to support the Annual Fund. By coming together to contribute, you will directly impact every student at our four schools. Join us in this collective effort though we are four schools, we are ONE Sacred Heart, united in our commitment to making a difference in the lives of our students.

INTERLUDE
MARCH 1, 2025
Interlude, the highly anticipated spring gala and auction fundraiser unites current parents and alumnae to support Sacred Heart by leveraging their connections to provide, promote, or purchase auction items, raffle tickets, wine tower entries, table sponsorships, and more. The dollars raised from Interlude directly support the immediate funding needs of each school at Sacred Heart Interlude is also a fantastic opportunity for parents to volunteer and collaborate with fellow community members.
A highlight of Interlude is the Lead with Heart initiative, which raises critical funds for student financial assistance. In 202324, more than $170,000 was raised through Lead with Heart, ensuring that deserving students have access to a Sacred Heart education regardless of financial need

CAPITAL CAMPAIGNS AND SPECIAL PROJECTS
Capital campaigns and special projects may arise periodically, as specific needs are identified and approved by the Board of Trustees When the Board determines that these needs can be met through the generosity of our donor community, these campaigns are launched to provide significant funding for new or enhanced physical spaces, special projects, or contributions to the school’s endowment
These campaigns offer a unique opportunity for transformative impact Contributions are typically pledged over a three- to five-year period, allowing donors to support capital initiatives while continuing their vital contributions to the Annual Fund.
All members of the Sacred Heart community families, alumnae/i, trustees, and friends are invited to participate in these major campaigns, helping to ensure the continued growth and excellence of our schools
ENDOWMENT
An endowment is a fund of invested assets that provides ongoing financial support to an institution. For Sacred Heart, our endowment is crucial as it ensures long-term financial stability and allows the school to invest in key areas such as student tuition assistance, faculty development, and program enhancements By generating a reliable income stream, our endowment helps Sacred Heart fulfill our mission and sustain our high standards of education for future generations
You can contribute at any level to our existing endowed funds To establish a new endowed fund, a gift of $25,000 or more is required. Every contribution, large or small, plays a vital role in supporting our mission.
STUDENT SCHOLARSHIPS
Endowed student scholarships ensures that a Sacred Heart education remains within reach for families who might otherwise face financial barriers. It also provides vital support for current families experiencing changes in their financial circumstances, allowing them to continue benefiting from the exceptional Ursuline education that Sacred Heart offers
You can contribute at any level to our existing endowed scholarship funds. To establish a new endowed scholarship fund, a gift of $25,000 or more is required
