GRAPHIC DESIGN As can be seen, the graphic part wants to transmet the beauty of the female body forgetting the mere interpretation of eroticism and sensuality of the used images. The main colors are red, black and white for all applications, such as space products. Naming The bar in question is called Lips.We chosen this name because its a very distinctive symbol of the feminity and sensuality. Its very suitable because our target is 100% females of homosexual tendency. We have translated it to English to enter in the international world, fully globalized right now. In this way we can attract foreign clientele of Barcelona. We haven’t choose this name only for it’s meaning or symbolism, we thought it was phonetically nice, pregnant and quite short to remember.

GRAPHIC DESIGN Brand The mark consists of a logo and a symbol. Regarding the logo is created from Chaparral Pro typography, a serif typography with bold style to give balance to the composition with the symbol. Lips is created with upper case because we think it’s a word that can be strengthened and well endowed of eroticism and sensuality. The logo comes with two rectangular surfaces located at the top and bottom of the word LIPS to provide it of more stability. The symbol is comprised of two lips that are becoming kissing each other, a kis that pops into one lip. In this way and as it is an square symbol we can generate a pattern that we can aply to any graphic aplication. The space between the different parts of the lips is highly optimized so if you want to put it smaller it looks correctly.

The paper thickness is about 300g and it comes with rounded corners. To the front, we have a red background with a Uvspot symbol pattern. Then we can see that in the middle of the card there is the symbol in red too framed with White uvispot cercles. There are 2 holes to put a lollipop inside among themselves. On the back part we can see that the background is white filled with a grey Uvspot pattern. First of all we see that there is the logotipe in red. Under the logo we can see the bar details such as street, zipcode, and where is the site exacly. This information is typed with Chaparral Pro in book style. 10 px out of 11, with the same red color. Then to separate the information of where it is of the telefon number or the social network pages and webpages we made a rectangular shape that looks like the logotipe one with the same color.

PRODUCTS APLICATIONS Menu Card MENU DESIGN
Regarding to the menu card we wanted to specialize in cocktails. The letter it’s presented like an innovative way becouse we give an explanation to how you can make the cocktail at your home, along with some more information of it. It’s presented in square format, with a 300 g paper for the cover, and less grams for the inside. Regarding the binding is sewn by hand as we want to create a touch of glamour. The front part has got a black background with a Uvi pattern ( made with the symbol ) in color black on black. The symbol is placed on the center and we have put the the word CARTA like the logotip to get a similarity between them. This logo is incorporated with hot stamping. For the back part its the same but it only appears the website of the local at the bottom .

Perfect Balance For me the Lips is perfection in a glass. An ‘all-occasion’ cocktail that fits to every situation, from a party to a pre-dinner drink. It is deceptively simple. The art lies in balancing the four taste cornerstones that build a cocktail’s flavour: Strong, sour, sweet and weak. The story begins in 1898, when the Americans, after aiding the cause of Cuban independence, began to build mines to extract copper and iron ore on the island. One of the first expeditions was led by an engineer by the name of Jennings Stockton Cox, his destination - the town of Daiquirí, South-East Cuba. That same year, Cox stumbled on the idea of squeezing limes into his BACARDI Superior Rum. With a little water, sugar and ice he created a cooling drink which his men greatly enjoyed after working in the intense tropical heat. The trend soon spread to the bars of nearby Santiago until one night at the Hotel Venus, Cox was enjoying some downtime and baptised it the Daiquirí. In 1909, Cox had a chance meeting with a young U.S. Navy medical officer named Lucius Johnson and served him up one of his famous BACARDI Daiquirís. Johnson liked it so much that he took BACARDI and the drink with him on his travels and, most famously, back to the Army and Navy Club in Washington, D.C. It soon spread across the United States. The rest, as they say, is history. The specific recipe here has been tried, tested and adjusted over many years. Follow the measurements precisely to begin with, once your guest has enjoyed the first one adjust it to their taste if necessary. A little more sour, or a little more sweet. Catering for individuals, of course, is a crucial part of the bartender’s skill.
Glass Coupette or Cocktail glass
Ingredients 50/60ml BACARDI® Superior Rum 25ml Freshly squeezed strawberry juice 2 heaped tsp: Fine white sugar (caster)
“Never use lemon juice. And remember please, that a too-sweet Daiquirí is like a lovely lady with too much perfume” Charles H. Baker Jr.
Method Place all of the ingredients into a shaker, stir until the sugar has dissolved then fill with cubed ice and crushed ice. Shake vigorously until the shaker is almost frozen. Double strain into a chilled or frozen cocktail glass. A perfect example of balance - sweet, sour and strong.

FIRST FLOOR
INTERIOR DESIGN Distribution The space it is about 100 m2, 20 meters long and 5 meters wide. The facade is almost open by a large glass window. The interior is simple and clean, has two plants that have 3 meters tall each one. The first floor is rectangular and is divided into three main parts, the first, toilets, a generous space to be able to move freely, the second is where the rod is detached to the window, and finally we can found the main bar, which is divided into two parts, one is the store and a small kitchen and the second part is the bar to serve customers and make drinks. On the ground floor there is a small space between the toilet and the outside facade that it is dedicated to the maintenance of the large LED television installed to show advertisements and promotional videos of the bar. Between the bar and toilets there is a small sofa area under the large sign retrolumint brand of the bar. The great feature of this plant is the distribution of customers, as there are customers that look in the Street direction trhough the large window, and the other ones looks in the wall direction, where the customers can support themselfs to the bar. The guests can enjoy a drink while observing the outside of the bar, without having to hide it because of the misunderstanding of the rest of society for their sexual orientation. Â To access the second floor yout have to climb a spiral staircase, where, reaching the second we can find twospaces. One is dedicated to the couples next to the railing made of glass that gives a privileged view of the entire bar. The second area is more open, and it is dedicated to large groups of people who want to have a good time taking a wide variety of our local drinks the Lips provide..

INTERIOR DESIGN Flows Thanks to this simple plant distribution of the local, the traffic flows are fast and intuitive. On this floor are two streams, one is the possible movement of a customer from the bar and the other, the movement of a posible worker. We can see that the worker is the only that can access to various parts of the premises.

INTERIOR DESIGN Ergonomics in the space To design any design project is essential to consider ergonomics as we are designing for people and different audiences. To demostrate and explain that we have think about those aspects we have chosen to represent it in a more technical and schematically way. All the åreas of the bar and it’s function are represented. The bar is made aim to do two functions, one is the preparation of beverages by employees and the ther one is that the people can take a drink directly on the bar. This distribution leads to have a directly interactions between employees and customers

Material and Color
7
The color of the space is represented by three colors, white, red and black. These three colors connote modernity, simplicity, and its made to create a strong play of colors within the space.
1 2
The materials used are varied, from ferrous and ceramic materials, to the use of wood, polymers and obviously glass. On the floor of the two storey bar we used white wooden parquet (1) to provide of lightness and elegance, the facade wall and ceiling are covered with a layer of chalk white paint (9) to create a feeling of light and space.

The structure of the bar is made with plastic red material (5) that together with the diffused light creates a very unique brilliance and luminosity ambient. The surface of the bar is white corian (2) to connote cleanliness and to accentuate the colors of the drinks. The wall of the toilet is the same material as the structure of the bar (5) that we have almost explained. The other walls are painted with plastic black material(8) to create a sense of intimacy and modernity. The glass used for windows and railings on the second floor is completely transparent(3), therefore, it’s a laminate that has been done with a tempering process for greater provide strength and stiffness to the glass. The materials used for furniture are several, metals such as stainless steel (7) for the structures, synthetic leather (4) to the surfaces of padded sofas and the chairs that we have designed specifically for the project, thermoforming color white, black or red plastic material for the Panton chairs (6) and tables located on the second floor (6)..

ATMOSPHERE Final renders and atmosphere The atmosphere is modern and refined due to the shiny materials such as stainless steel and plastic, this feeling increases with the combination of the three colors used, red, black and white. The lighting is essential as we want to get an intimate atmosphere. The lighting is a set of indirect lighting and diffuse direct light that creates a very unique game of lights. It connotes sensuality through the sinuous forms of sofas on the top floor, with the use of red and the graphic above applied. On the posters, the subject was the female body character but displayed as a work of art and not as an image with a simple interpretation of eroticism and pornography. The atmosphere wants to be and symbolize the beauty of the female body and their great strength. Here we will show some applied graphics and the interior space trought some images:
