The idea of Bukvy The Stockholm based company Bukvy is founded by Joanna Bark and Elena EkstrÜm. It all started out with an idea of the ultimate bag. One bag in many forms, evolving as life does. Two friends with jobs on the run, living apart relationships, nights out, many activities in one day and too many things to carry. Two friends with bags, rucksacks, totes, clutches to fit in their daily belongings: computer, sketch block, wallet, lunch box, gym clothes, keys, books, snacks, glasses, phone, clothes and so on. Knowing eachother already as kids, we dreamed about making the ultimate escape and survival bag. It needed to float, contain milkshake, fit life in space and hopefully a best friend. Today our dreams are still big but in more new ways. From what started out as a longing to be on the run, a desire to be free and the satisfaction of knowing where your belongings are ended up in a life project. It has taken hours of construction, craftsmanship, discussions and testing to get to the final result and it is with great pride we are giving you our ultimate bag – the Bukvy Bag. Our first bag is made of genuine leather. It is a small but focused collection made to simplify and organize the daily life of urban people through function and elegance.
Tote bag You can wear the bukvy bag as a tote by changing the position of the leather straps. The tote can be worn on the shoulder or crossbody. It measures 30x 42cm and the depth is 15cm.
CHANGE width
Rucksack As a rucksack you can either use your Bukvy as a thin laptopbag, or inrcrease the volum by the zippers on the sides, into a spacious bag. At the backside of the bag you find two pockets designed for phone, keys and the min-wallet. The rucksack measures 30x 42cm and comes with tho leather straps. The depth is 3- 15cm.

Handbag The handbag is the smallest mode of the Bukvy bag. By opening the zippers on the sides, the volume of the handbag can be changed. The handbag measures 30x 22cm and comes with a thin leather strap.
