Volkswagen has enjoyed much success in recent decades with several small, performance models including the GTI. The German automaker hopes that this success will find its way to the iconic Beetle as it is releasing a sporty GSR edition this fall. This limited edition model, with just 3,500 copies to be sold worldwide, takes its inspiration from classic 1970sera Beetles.

A sixspeed manual transmission is standard; a six-speed dual clutch automatic transmission is available.
This front-wheel-drive model is all about catching your eye while it grabs the road. Bi-Xenon headlamps with LED treatments, a panoramic sunroof, keyless entry with push button start, Bluetooth connectivity, a Fender Premium Audio System and heated front seats are among the amenities found in this model.
