Location: Central Helsinki, Finland Area: 271 m2 Status: Renovation completed in 2013 The renovation of apartment 16 is a showcase of proficient re-thinking, skilful restoration work and respect for the history and spirit of the house. It is a tribute to craftsmanship and beautiful materials. During the renovation all walls, floors and ceilings were completely redone, some structures were altered and fortified, and changes were made to room divisions. The whole apartment was transformed into a spacious entity, filled with light and beautiful details. The mouldings and decorations, which had disappeared during the past decades, were meticulously redone and old doors were preserved and restored. New and less common materials were also introduced, in harmony with the spirit of the apartment: Corten steel, handmade silk wallpapers. The lightings, audio system and fixed furniture is all tailor-made.

Location: Sundsberg, Finland Area: Private House 351 m2 Status: Under construction K House is a luxury villa with a spectacular sea view in three different directions. Materials used are of the highest quality – natural stone such as white marble and onyx, as well as smoked oak and brass. All furniture is custom-made with a special attention to details.

Location: Westend, Espoo, Finland Area: Private house 300 m2 Status: Completed in 2012 The minimalistic yet pronounced R House stands boldly by the shoreline, inviting the sea and its changing powers to act as a captivating part in the soul of the house. With its location next to the sea, and its pure and uncluttered architectural design, the house has a dramatic edge to it – the large glass surfaces, spacious balconies, steel pillars and roof structures give the house a distinctive, strong character. At the same time, the use of Dinesen Douglas fir wood in the floors and several other smaller spaces brings warmth to this home, as does the design and decoration of the living spaces, the charm of the beautifully tendered garden and the views to the attractive park behind the house.

Location: Westend, Espoo, Finland Area: Private house 200 m2 Status: Completed in 2011 The minimalistic, yet inviting A House is a home where design and functionality meet the needs of the modern family life. This white stone house with its large glass surfaces and impeccable lighting solutions lets the exterior and the interior smoothly blend into each other. Seasons are extended by a beautiful, functional terrace, through the sliding doors and in the low maintenance, artistic garden. The heart of the house, the minimalistic black kitchen, is engulfed by the elegant entertaining area, and further out completed by the white, stylishly decorated fence. High-end design and scrutinized details act as a playground for an active family life.

Location: Porkkala, Finland Area: Main house 150 m2, guest house and sauna Status: Completed in 2013 Villa Lulla, with its sculptural lines and design, is a tribute to architecture’s play with the surrounding nature. Light as the airy elements in the archipelago, it floats on steel pillars, enhancing the majestic stability of rocks and cliffs around it. The entity of four buildings, all in Siberian larch tree, completely melts into its surroundings. While it is hidden and protected from the prevailing winds and the nearby boating routes, Villa Lulla opens up to spectacular views of the open sea. The use of airy steel pillars leaves the island nature practically untouched and gives an impression of the house flying in the air. Yet inside, the warmth of the Siberian larch tree, the refined details in the interior woodwork and the exquisite decoration form a tranquil and safe home, a protecting nest in the arms of the sea.

Location: Strรถmsรถ, archipelago, Southern Finland Area: Main house 280 m2, guest house and storage Status: Completed in 2011 The majestic Villa Korsholmen is a harmonic ensemble between architecture and nature, showing utmost respect towards the Finnish archipelago and blending in with the surrounding elements. The calm and earthly palette at Villa Korsholmen invites for a relaxed and mindful living. The naturally toned Siberian larch tree is combined with large glass surfaces. The atrium shaped house encompasses a big terrace, which is equipped with a beautiful swimming pool. Fitting perfectly in with the surrounding sea and nature, Villa Korsholmen resembles a bird with its wings spread out on each side.
