While Cesar Alvarez's paintings depict many kinds of subjects, from intimate portraits to sweeping cityscapes, the uniting force behind his images is their distinctive use of color. My paintings are identified by my color palette, he says, and his palette is based predominantly on warm tonesreds, oranges and yellows that give his works a vibrant, engaging presence.

I am a Brazilian artist born in 1982. I began my journey with graffiti in 1998 in my hometown, Belo Horizonte, Brazil. In recent years, I collaborated with big brand companies to illustrate and design CD covers, book illustrations, scenery for theater and television. I held many personal and exhibitions in Italy, German, Brazil, England, Thailand and Palestine.

My art reflects the world I perceive, also the people I meet and love. it conveys the nature I admire, and all the things that affect my life! The nature and the people are my main inspirations. I focus on people's psyche, attitudes, appearance, manners and all the complex processes that take place both outside and inside their nature.

I practiced watercolor for many years. That watercolor does not accept any fault and requires decisive, serial, meticulous work enriched my brush. I, then, decided to continue my watercolor exploration with acrylic that is another technique.

My work could be interpreted as decorative but I weave stories into my work based on my life experience as trans-racial, Chinese adoptee with engaging and lavish imagery. Many of my images are of things I have found in Sydney: a joyful and chaotic assemblage of blooms and fruit arranged in a variety of Chinese ceramics but with a narrative that draws the viewer in for a second look.

Martin focus on portraits where he manages the importance to capture the presence of a soul in each and every drawing, which makes it more than just a photographic drawing. Also the amount of detail put into his drawings are incredible. His desire to grow as an artist visualises in the search for new techniques, experiments and large size paper which results in rare and unique drawings.

It's really beautiful, when you walk down the streets you can see the roadside shops filling up the sides, dogs and cows sharing the streets with the people. I usually capture the light that pass through the streets and the people on them, whether its summer or heavy rain monsoon. The deft brush strokes and earthy colors are based on meticulous optical observation.

By using strange and, maybe, naive ideas about world we all had in childhood, throughout associations and different characters in artworks I'm trying to show my own vision of life and world. Portrait with a technical squeeze of paper is a metaphor of past memories. After all, our past memories, of bad or good experiences, will enable us to stand tall and strong right now and for the future. Rainbow on the twinis a self-introspection image of seeing ourselves in the mirror so we can see the beautiful and the bad of ourselves like a twin. Like a society that reflects on its own culture.

2 sisters, 2 twin sisters who are never separated from birth to adulthood, they understand each other, have joy and sorrow together.

Hope 1 Acrylic on Canvas

4959cm 2017

In making works of art, I try to find what is in my mind, and try to feel in Silence. There are many things that cannot be controlled by the mind, there is always something hidden inside, which I always try to find. When every event ends in life, that's when I try to improve myself even though it is never perfect. All the things I get in life are gifts from the Invisible Hand.

Hope is an optimistic attitude of mind that is based on expectations. The protagonist is looking to move away from all the troubles which are residing and rising within. The gray background represents the grim situation around. However, the mind still has hope. The expression on the face of the protagonist shows that there is a glimmer of hope within as well as in the background.

Sai is a keen observer of people & their passions. Drawn to music herself, she is fascinated by the idea of artists being drawn to their craft, their medium of expression, a musician's delight upon playing an instrument, the euphoria experienced during a performance. However, human relationships & the dynamic nature of city life still hold a very special place in her heart & find a way into her work. To her, art is a necessity, not a choice.

My acrylic painting work gives great importance to representation within an empty and abstract space, using interwoven pigments, where the chiaroscuro contrasts with extremely neatly painted characters. I create a diaphanous atmosphere of mysticism, inquiring into a dreamlike and intense world. My work seeks an ethical reflection: a call to consciousness in order to recover lost values, achieve peace and resurface, from chaos, to the world.

Each material is attractive to me in its own way, with its specific features. I keep experimenting in my works. As of 2005 I have been an active participant of various Russian and international exhibitions. The canvases are housed in museums and galleries of the countries.

Lifetime... I learned to draw when I was a child. I loved to draw and drew a lot, basically illustrating books I read. When I grew up I gave up my drawing activity as I simply did not have time for that being busy with more important things. Though I always dreamed to return to art. Brown is our skin sun-kissed and pigmented by rich shades of earth reminding us of our biology – islanders blessed by the bounty of the mountains and the seas. A12291cm nail and thread on canvas portrait, Kayumanggi (brown in the Filipino language), as the artist would like to invoke, upholds our rustic origins bosomed by a ubiquitous palette we are all quite familiar with and allusions to our Western fascination and influence.

This painting depicts a summer scene on our local beach, which I would love to see some time soon. I hope the local authorities will one day organize this kite flying festival in which I would love to participate and fly my own kite, contributing towards turning our blue summer sky into a multi-colored one, representing our multicultural country where we all mingle with each other in peace and harmony.

Acrylic on Canvas9090cm 2016

9191cmI like to create close up paintings. I have created the paintings of things in the glass of water since 2004. One day, I noticed the beauty of buttons in water when I was taking photos to create painting. I can feel the different shapes and colors of the buttons. I think that the smiling faces of them resemble the human beings. The buttons in my painting represent the human society, which is full of happiness, sadness and struggling.

Min is a realistic painter. If you say his work looks like a photo, Min does not deny it. I like the real thing about things, so I paint on what they look like, said 38-year-old. When Min started a new project, he worked hard with Acrylic for a few days, portraying every detail of his theme. The end result is a translucent and clean still life that draws the viewer to guess whether the artist is using a brush or a camera.

Min Thar Gyi was born in Yangon, Myanmar, on January 30, 1981, and works on paintings and making artworks. Currently a free professional painter, he has participated in more than 150 art exhibitions.

Towards the new, modern and developed nation

Lotus LakeAcrylic on Canvas

Acrylic on Canvas12292cm 2017

10262cm 2017I used to paint crowded buses of Yangon, based on my childhood experience. Now, my inspiration moves on construction sites workers who go to their work on crowded trucks. Towards the New, modern and developed nation is old motto of previous military regimes in Myanmar. But in my opinion, they are going to build such nation mostly with these easy-going, less educated laborers so I think it's still a long way!

This is a lovely park and well worth a visit.

In my opinion, art has no shadow but no answer, but rather personal relocation and thinking. Its value is in the deepest perseverance and process in the superficiality, when I created it, I got the answer, and when you received it, you got the realization ofyourselves . I think in this space, I can only comprehend the experience (thinking), the art's mystery lies in his inability to communicate in words, and if there is a connection between humanity and mind, thoughts may not exist.

Painting is a road full of surprise, let me think the world has become open. Many unexpected things happened in the creative process, forcing me to jump out of the fixed imagination, and everyone's ideas on the works also brought me a lot of inspiration. In the future, I will continue to create, I hope my paintings can be beyond the constraints of time and space environment, also hope when people see my work can have more reflection on the world.

Art is rooted in sincere thoughts and emotions, with the ultimate goal of healing oneself. I like to observe the characteristics, simplify the modeling, the use of symbolic expression, so that ideas and emotions in the picture present a contemporary sense of design. Not seeking realism, but abstract, drawn from the familiar natural life, looking forward to resonance, to share the beauty of art.

The game is often accompanied by an interesting phenomenon of role-playing, imitation and virtual imagination. Through the dramatic performance of the painting, this painting takes the theme of people's imagination as an extension of the concept ofplay Showing the fantastic atmosphere of a virtual game.
