PREVENTION OVER ACTION Triangulation of the healt-care system through hospital project development in different scales in the city of Ibague.
The linearity of the main articulated road in the city is highly important to establish the centers for specialized atention and the basic units located in peripherical regions. 3 weeks, 2 fast projects developed as a quick response on specific needs of housing and designed in very small sites with high density respecting the FAR allowed by the municipality in the specific areas. What was expected from us, the students, was to be critical and propositive when the situations were very challenging related to the small area and the high density, that in most of the cases was very difficult to articulate in a correct way the different spaces having enough space for landscape and socialization spaces.

Work development FAR data processing according to regulations Masterplan development Conceptualization of project Design through specific program Autocad drafting 2D & modelling 3D Rendering using 3Dsmax
The project hash 70 housing units, distributed in 4 typoloyes and each one designed in modules of 3.3*6mts. Keeping in mind the relationship between the parking proposal and the municipality regulations, the number of parking lot is 20 for house owners and 8 for visitors. The built area on ground floor is much more less compared to what is supposed to be since only 13 units are designed in it, the voids located in the bottom part of the towers can be considered as communal, as well as the terraces in the upper floors.

the project is located on a corner with high traffic flows (private and public). Being a corner lot, is the creation of a plaza that creates a space for outdoor activities. The project is mostly focused on student housing, with 98 one-person units of 18.9 m2, consisting of bedroom, bathroom and kitchen, with a multiple of 6 m2 space for the development of the various activities of the individual. The duplex apartment is designed with kitchens and multiple top-level space, 2 spaces for leisure (rooms), bathroom and closet in common use at the second level, with an area of 39.9 m 2. The house has a commercial production doubled since the first functional level commercial space as well as 2 rest areas, bathroom and closet shared a common area for multiple activities to be leased to students and was located living room so it can be used both by students and by the homeowners. At the second level have access to a terrace that can be used in hydroponics tenure, improving the sustainability of the family, this home has an area of 65 m 2 and a terrace of 15 m 2.

Case of study #1: SANTIAGO DE CHILE Demolition over the topographic level 1000: The potential growth towards the east part of the city (ANDEAN MOUNTAINS) has a limitant now, THE TOPOGRAPHIC LEVEL 1000, which means, any phisical construction over that height WILL BE DEMOLISHED in order to keep the landscape of this orographic system and accomplish the purpose of a regulated metropolitan urbanization , with the correct densification.
Case of study #1: MILAN Green belts provide: • Open spaces • Light recreational opportunities • Includes development EXAMPLES OF GREEN BELTS used to control the urban sprawl U.S.A STATES • Oregon • Washingtong • Tennessee

METROBOSCO-Milan, Has as an aim to define the borders of the city through the creation of the green belt that will count on the plantation of 3 million of trees. Will help the city to breathe and reduce the emissions of CO2 in the environment. Will improve the environmental conditions. The presence of a continous park and trees is not only limitated to the biological and environmental field, it also contributes to the social and psychological benefit of the inhabitants in the city.
SOCIOPOLIS is an ambitious urban development project that tends to blur even further the already fuzzy border between city and countryside, mixing high urban density with farmland. The settlement brings its residents into contact with agricultural life, mixing homes with farmland, workplaces with fields and irrigation systems with roads and car parks. Give farmers the chance to experience urban life and city dwellers an opportunity to live in a contemporary “huerta”. Shared resources and activities. Smart Growth, the successor to what was formerly referred to as urban sprawl, has a basis in 10 fundamental principles: Strengthen and direct development toward existing communities. Take advantage of compact building design. Create housing opportunities and choices * Create "walkable" communities. Make development decisions predictable, fair, and cost-effective. Foster distinctive, attractive communities with a strong sense of place. Provide a variety of transportation choices Mix land uses. Preserve open space, farmland, natural beauty, and critical environmental areas. Encourage community and stakeholder collaboration in development decisions

very specific typology of enclosure of the space that will be considered the only space secure within the territory in the city. From a sort of oasis over the Tigris that Hussein adapted to be the centre of his power, Green zone became an area that nowadays is occupied by Americans and its configuration has given the precepts for the security plan in Baghdad.
RED Baghdad is becoming a
City
Planning the NEW COEXISTANCE was done by the development of the new SECURITY PLAN for Baghdad. The SECURITY PLAN is a joint coalition with Iraqi and American soldiers that were working side by side to CLEAR each sector of SHIITE militians and SUNNI insurgents and establish SECURITY to be able to start the reconstruction of the city under SAFE CONDITIONS IMAGES
The Iraqis have developed a new command structure to help them execute Operation Enforcing the Law, the Baghdad Security Plan. This is the first time that the Iraqi government has designated an official responsible for operations in Baghdad and for all assets in the capital. President Bush announced an increase in U.S forces in Baghdad on January 10, 2007, in his “New Way Forward” speech. The mision of U.S troops in Iraq would be “to help Iraqis clear and secure neighborhoods, to help them protect the local population, and to help ensure that the Iraqi forces left behind are capable of providing the security that Baghdad needs”. Military commanders convert the president’s goals into a concrete hierarchy of military objectives and tasks. Although U.S forces attempted to clear and secure neighborhoods in Baghdad at intervals in summer and fall 2006, General George Casey’s priority was turning the responsibility for security over to Iraqi forces as quickly as possible. The goal of securing the population of Iraq, particularly Baghdad, is now paramount in American strategy. NewYorkTimes, February 6, 2007 By Kimberly Kagan
