What is new in the outlook of Individual Psychology is our observation that the feelings are never in contradiction to the style of life. Where there is a goal, the feelings always adapt themselves to its attainment. We are no longer, therefore, in the realm of physiology or biology; the rise of feelings cannot be explained by chemical theory and cannot be predicted by chemical examination. -------------What Life Could Mean to You, Alfred Adler, 1932 Acorrding to the Individual Psychology, feeling always adapt to the way of life. Distorted way of life triggers abnormal feelings or emotion. In the modern society, relationships between one to oneself or one to others are complicated and delicate. To maintain a healthy emotional state, therefore, is very important to our lives. Everyone needs to be cured.
It is a narrative. I am the protagonist. I need to be cured.

NOTHING In the modern society, two kinds of Chinese people are distinctive and representitive. Repression man who traps their emotions inside leads torturous life. He needs to reach innerpeace after an emotional catharsis. In terms of nothing man, no event manage to pluck his silent chord. A flying stone is expected to break in the center of silent heart. The building will be a curer to them.

Confession of the Protagonist As a writer, mood fluctuation is normal for me, even death haunts nothing. I feel peaceful about everything, no, I am petrified. I can not even feel my heart beating, may be it is the right time for me to visit the emotion curer. Entering the park from north gate, I am surrounded by dense green trees in which faintly stands a white volume. When I come close, a huge roof overhanging about 10 meters leads me to enter into the dark space below. Then I stand in an almost dark space with a few huge pillars across, which takes a minute to adjust my eyes and emotion.

REPRESSION
I gradually feel repressed along with my advance. The volume diminishes and the storey height decreases. I feel that the only thing to do is keep calm and keep searching the dim illumination in the distance.
THINKING
Walking down along the slope, a bright under water space in which light shines with water fluctuation. Yes, it is the thingking place.
UNPEACE
Walking across the repression space, scenes change to dangerous ones. Upright and aclinic pillars consititute the dark forest. A man who is in front of me keeps trembling when walking through the bridge under a beam of dazzling light.
13
LOST
Go through the unpeace space, I calm down my mood and keep on going. After a short breathe on huge roof, I come back interior entering the lost space. Dusky atmosphere and innumerable forks makes me sticked to the gound.
THE END OF LOST
Walking through the lost part, I find out a stairway. Looking upon along the stair, I feel stabbing pain in my heart by seeing a sharp acute angle. I know I need to keep going up.
PERSEVERATION
After climbing up the stairs, countless steps show up. Diffuse reflection of light through tiny crevice sparkles numerous beams. The stair lines and the beam lines criss cross on the floor. I have to walk through all these steps before going into next space.

RETROSPECT
REFRESH
Postscript Standing on the gazebo, I overlook the beautiful and refreshing scenes in the Taoranting Park for the first time. Some people are laughing with their family while some are ramble along the path near the lake. I want to invite some friends to row a boat on the lake and we can have a good time chatting. The moment I go out the elevator, walk down the step and stand on the grass, I feel that I am back on earth, the place where I live. I will return to my life, flesh and vivid life. I will sing a song to express my feeling in heart. I will never hide or repress anything. I will be a true man. Yes, the building is the place called emotion curer.
Hey Jude, don't make it bad ----------------------------------------------------------Take a sad song and make it better ----------------------------------------------------------Remember to let her into your heart ----------------------------------------------------------Then you can start to make it better ----------------------------------------------------------Hey Jude, don't be afraid ----------------------------------------------------------You were made to go out and get her ----------------------------------------------------------The minute you let her under your skin ----------------------------------------------------------Then you begin to make it better ----------------------------------------------------------And anytime you feel the pain, hey Jude, refrain ----------------------------------------------------------Don't carry the world upon your shoulders ----------------------------------------------------------For well you know that it's a fool who plays it cool ----------------------------------------------------------By making his world a little colder ----------------------------------------------------------Na Na Na Na Na Na-Na-Na-Na-Na Na Na Na Na Na Na-Na-Na-Na-Na-Na-Na Hey jude -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------(Paul Mccartney, Hey jude, 1968)
Running across a bridge, after I review all my experience above, I enter the peace space. It is like heaven with bright light shinning on my head, in which I will have a rest before depature.
It is time to leave after going over all these spaces. I stand on the gazebo and retrospect. Same pillars penetrate in between the unpeace space and peace one. It is a metaphor to see they are actually such close.

TO RUN RUNNING NEVERLAND Primary School Design Cities are places in which people are influenced to be disciplined. Most architecture in the city are places to teach people to become standardized citizens in sense. Nature of a school, a disciplinary machine in the city, urges reorientation of itself. THINKING OF A PRIMARY SCHOOL What is a school? Is it a prison? On the contrary, it exists, it has a reality, it is produced permanently around, on, within the body by the functioning of a power that is exercised on those punished - and, in a more general way, on those one supervises, trains and corrects, over madmen, children at home and at school, the colonized, over those who are stuck at a machine and supervised for the rest of their lives. ----------------Discipline and Punish, Michel Foucault, 1975
prison discipline prisoner
zoo cage
What is a school? Is it a zoo? In a school, kids are in custody for 8 hours per day staying inside the huge cage. They are ruled to listen to the drum-roll, line up in silence and assemble in division. In a zoo, animals are locked in the cage where they play, fill the belly and sleep. They are not real animals in sense, since they have lost their nature to run at large.
What is a school? It should be a neverland. Modern school is not a punitive imprisonment, a gentle way of punishment runs also. They are taught to be a civilized human harshly and permenantly with disciplined behavior and stable thinking. They stick to chair and show their individualism with iPad in their hands. NO! Kids should run at large like leopards, laugh under sun like flowers, play with others like bees and use their brains like dolphins. School should be a place to liberate their nature, I call it neverland.

Every day in the morning, children rush to school, because they will have one day joyful life running on roof and playground rather than cabined inside classrooms working with exercises. Therefore, they play hard and even learn hard eventually. They grow up healthily both in physiology and psychology. The school is their running neverland.

----------------Towards a New Atchitecture, Le Corbusier, 1985
In the modern city, we live in a fast - paced life, people rush to work and rush home after work. Mass - production, which turn into symbol of modern society, pose a big pressure on people. Home becomes a temporary shelter especially for those new immigrants. They move their homes frequently because of work transfer, contradictions with government and poverty. Big city, their new home, become indifferent to them.

BACKGROUND AND STRATEGY With the rapid development of modern city, many problems reveal. Life style of people changes as well from the fixed one to flexible one. In addition, the increasing number of 'new settler' inhance the population mobility. All these phenomenons lead to the loss of a sense of belonging. Residents in a city are more like migrants for their fast changing life. For example, one may live near a hospital for the convenience to workplace. After job transfer, he has to move to another place that closer to the new workplace. In conclusion, a house that can meet people' needs whatever their lives turn into is indispensible. Therefore, to make the residence invariant in a variant mode is the idea in my design to solve the problem.
ELEMENTS Lego and Tetris are the prototypes of the elements. A 3m*3m*3m cube is the basic element of a house. And a house for per person has four cubes. They can be connection to each other by seven methods.
VARIABILITY
1 + 2
= 3
1 A lonely man lived alone in his four cubes. He chose to place his four cubes vertically and install ladders inside for climbing up and down. Windows were set beyond human's horizontal sight for no eye-contact with outside world. One day, he followed the sound and then met a nice girl.
2 A youth violin player who owned 4 cubes lived alone in the community. She liked to play the violin tenderly and soft in her glass cube when the sun shined on her shoulder. Her single life changed by an eyecontact with a stranger.
They falled in love with each other. The lonely man finally opened his hear t and decided to enjoy the happiness of life. They got married and moved together with their 8 cubes. They moved to a more bustling place for running a cafe for living.

OVERALL DESIGN OF XUESHAN TOWN The central government of China has concentrated on urbanization for more than 30 years from 1978. By the year 2012, more than half population of China lived in city rather than countryside. The National Health and Family Planning Commission of China estimates around 300 million will continuously be added to China’s urban population by 2025. However, as the aggravation of megacity problems, counter-urbanization phenomenon will become apparent. I predict that by the year 2050, about 16% of Chinese people will go back to countryside and lead a new life there which neither same to traditional rural life nor to urban life. Thus, it is crucial to re-orientate the Town-ization strategy to avoid the mistakes we have made before.

BACKGROUND
Xingjing Xueshan village belongs to Baoxing MuPing town, and it is located in the northwest of Ya’an, southwest of Chengdu, central Sichuan Province. Landscape in Xueshan village is vertical topography with mountain, which is in Qionglai Mountain area.

With the rapid development of urbanization, the blind pursuit of economic interests and the improvement of living standards has led to a damage of traditional rural landscape, architecture style and custom features. It has also destroyed ecological environment, which makes the development prospect unknown. Reconstruction of Ya’an area gave us this opportunity to rethink and replan. We discuss how should traditional villages morphology combined with architectural form and new industry pattern; to present the local characteristics and personality; to create the original ecological landscape architecture, in order to propose an integrated solution for the future development of Xueshan Village.

OVERALL PLAN We build up two roads for Xueshan village in our proposal. The main entrance with parking lot and tourist center is in the north of the village. ‘Ji’is not only the commercial center of the area, but also plays a role in transportation and sightseeing. Water resource located in the southwest upper land of the area. Water is led by canals, goes down itself because of the gravity. Pasture is near the water resource, which is separated from the central part with shamu forest. Commercial part and viewing synthesis are located in the center of the village, surrounded by lodges and restaurants. Lands are contracted to families to plant. Public service houses are scattered in the west of the area. The whole village surrounded by diverse vegetations, which is an awesome place for tourists, and a nice home for the villagers. Rock Climbing 3D commerce strategy is a new concept that we put forward in our proposal. It focuses on combination of commercial space, transportation space and viewing space. ‘ji’is the main part of 3D commerce strategy. We remold the terrain slightly so that we will have some broad space to do business. A vertical transportation system is used to connect two business streets which are parallel. Meanwhile, adding some gray space in the east side of the upper street so that people will have a wonderful sight while they are shopping. We build a small viewing deck in the north of the street, people can see beautiful scene of two river’s meeting there; And beautiful scenery of mountain will be seen in the big viewing deck in the south of the street.

What kind of energy can we see if tourism is combined with agriculture, commerce is combined with animals husbandry ? Our proposal present a new industrial strategy about how to combine 3D commerce and eco-tourism agriculture, it is totally different from the former strategy of Xueshan village. Preserving and remolding the dwellings, building a business atmosphere, exploiting and replaning green land, which shows the unique viewing of Xueshan village, build a harmonious atmosphere of people and nature. We focus on agriculture, animals husbandry and tourism’s integrate in the industrial strategy. Lands are contracted to families, which makes better productivity and initiative. We bring in the concept of eco-tourism agriculture, which makes tourists feel the local custom and the happiness of planting while seeing the beautiful scenery.

DWELLING REMOLDING STRATEGY SCENES AFTER EARTHQUAKE
STUDY OF TENON STRUCTURE As the photo showing, many a brick-concrete buildings are destroyed in the earthquake, while wooden architecture standed still with a little movement. Wood's characteristic shows better pliability than rigid material such as steel or brickconcrete, thus natural wood withstands greater deformation. Meanwhile, natural wood is generally more light on the weight so the entire building is much lighter than brick-concrete and steel buildings. These are beneficial in an earthquake.

Tenon Structure Connections between wood construction elements can digest seismic energy effectively. Modern brick-concrete building requires connection of components to be secure and stable, when an earthquake occurs, the connection has little scope to deform, it is easy to break. The wooden architecture of t h e m e m b e r s a re c o n n e c t e d w i t h t e n o n structure, which tightly hold each component in an earthquake and deform to counteract the energy.

Strategy Wooden architecture should be restored in the area for its deformation and lightness merits in an earthquake. Meanwhile, tenon structure need to be used as the connection of components in all buildings for its great elaborate design and effect. Not only the restoration of wooden architecture benefits the security in an earthquake, but the protection of local original architectural form.

We studied the ancient Xidi Village, its road system, water circulation system, culture and customs and chose a specific house to study deep. Perspective of Xidi Village, Xidi, China, 2012
MAPPING IN DAXU VILLAGE We studied the ancient Daxu Village for its particular character of folk customs. The rain pavilion (theater) is the most symbolic architecture on folk custom. We made rubbings from steles in front of the pavilion, talked to local people about how and how often they use the place, and we measured all the building and made the model and placed a music player inside which played opera again and again to remind us of the prosperous age.
