Project: DEAP Analysis on Proposed New Build. Date: January 2017. Description: This analysis was done of an existing build in order to reach a BER rating of B1. A survey of the building was the first step in the process in order to find out all relevant information needed to enter into the DEAP calculation software. Considerations were made throughout looking at construction build-ups, ventilation, space heating, water heating, lighting etc. Construction details from the building were put into Therm to allow all thermal bridging issues to arise and improvements were made to eliminate them. Software used: Revit, Uvaluate, DEAP, Therm 5.2, Microsoft Word and Excel.
