EXPERIENCE: Buildner Design Competition
YEAR: 2022
This entry for Buildner’s “Greening The Industrial City” urban design competition aims to revitalize the historic Hughes Tool Co. Site in Houston, now known as the Central City Industrial Park (CCIP). As a site with limited vegetation, bound by railroads & built over a natural waterway, the area experiences a variety of issues such as gridlocked traffic, excessive heat & ponding. The project is organized into 5 hubs with new infrastructure that addresses the environmental & neighborhood concerns.

CITY GROVE: 200 MISSION ST.
Commercial adaptive reuse project within the City Grove (Atlas Block) mixed-use development

EXPERIENCE: Kendall/Heaton Associates
YEAR: 2022 - 2023
City Grove is a mixed-use redevelopment of PG&E’s former San Francisco Campus. Plans include the Historic Market Complex renovations, a new 89-story residential tower, and an altered 77 Beale St. which will be renamed 200 Mission St. I joined the 200 Mission St. team during the CD phase of the project and was responsible for developing & documenting the Egress Stairs. I also assisted with documenting the basement/garage levels & areas that were in the Interior designer’s Scope of Work.

EXPERIENCE: Kendall/Heaton Associates
YEAR: 2023 - 2024
Before leaving Kendall/Heaton Associates, I had the opportunity to work in their interiors department where I gained experience on various smaller-scale projects at various design phases. Responsibilities included creating office test-fits, creating design options to review with clients, specifying finishes & fixtures, as well as detailing millwork. By the time I had left, I had been managing two of the Interior department projects, preparing to submit for permitting and entering the CA phase.
