How to Sell a Service Online Knowing how to sell a service online these days is becoming more and more important, with the expansion of the internet and the birth of new technology, more and more people are looking to the internet to solve their problems. Some people now purely rely on the internet to find services and products for their needs and no longer shop in brick and mortar businesses. The internet is also providing a solid platform for people to create their own businesses and own brand and the entire world is their oyster. It isn’t as easy as all that though, there are so many people trying to achieve the same goal but are falling short by a long way. There is a right and a wrong way of selling your wares and services on the internet and I would like to explain to you just how you can do that. It is of course up to you to work on the technological aspects of doing this, I am not going to go into detail in this post. I am also going to explain the methods I and many have used to sell services and products, without having to actually do any selling. Build a list So the first thing you need to do is build a subscriber list of people who are interested in what you have to offer, this is actually easier than you may think! To begin building your list you need to offer something irresistible as a front end offer, in exchange for the person’s name and email, this is done through an email opt in box which you can create through Aweber or any other auto responder service, IE constant contact or Mail chimp. I personally recommend Aweber as it provides much better value for money and different options to customize your messages, but equally the other services will do the job. When you have a list of people who have opted in because of having an interest in what you are offering, you can begin the process of turning those people into keen buyers through the process of attraction marketing. Build a relationship with your list Building a relationship with your list doesn’t mean lunch for two at your local café, nor does it mean chatting for long period on the phone, no, what I am talking about is slowly building rapport with your list through providing endless streams of value in the form of videos, tips, blogs, podcasts you name it, all of which should be jam packed with information that your potential customers can take action on and even receive great results with from the beginning. This will allow you to build trust with your list and they will more readily believe what you are saying to them and eventually, they will come asking about your services with credit card in hand. Another good way of building your relationship is by sending emails that show your subscribers a little bit more about you, slowly you can do this and people will appreciate the fact that you are real and aren’t just some salesperson with an agenda. Promote to your list Now you are at the last stage of the attraction marketing process, promoting your offers to your list. Now you can do this in different ways but I would recommend you have a low barrier offer ready to offer to your list, this will allow them to try out what you are offering and slowly work their way through your upsells which you should have in place too. You have to be careful about how often you are promoting to your list, plus it is always a good idea to throw it into an email on the fly, maybe at the end

of the email as a P.S message, different things and different frequencies of sending the messages work for different people so you need to find out what works for your business. So short and sweet, there is the formula explained of how to sell a service online. Try this for yourself, apply what you have read here every day and I promise you, that you will own a list of subscribers who know and like you and will buy from you, this is possibly the most valuable asset of any business in the world.
