Work Resumes On IYLO Tower After Planning Agreements Reached Residents of Croydon are once again seeing workmen on the site of the future ISLAND tower, formally named the IYLO, now that planning agreements have been reached between the property’s new owner, Regency Homes, and the Croydon Council. The tower, which will be a 20-storey building when finished, is scheduled for completion within the next two years. The tower was rescued by Regency Homes in July 2012 after the previous owners fell into financial difficulties and it sat for over six months in a halffinished state while discussions were held between the city and the property developer.

Plans Approved The IYLO Croydon tower, or ISLAND, as it is now known, features 183 apartments including 11 penthouses.
