02 P&G BEAUTY: CLAIROL NICE’N EASY BASE PACKAGING REFRESH & LINE EXTENSION DEVELOPMENT Nice’n easy is one of the world’s leading hair colorants. The brand was perceived as old, out-dated and not innovative. Clairol looked to the beauty team at Landor to help them refresh the brand. It was important not to go to far from the base brand for risk of alienating customers at shelf. The addition of three new products under the NNE brand helped establish NNE as the leading hair color brand. NNE has since won numerous beauty awards and sales have soared.
