SEMINAR

BUTTONS AND BALUSTRADES - Fall 2012 - 10 Weeks - Group Project Project: Create an installation incorporating the inherent faciality in not only building facades but also a forced “Rorschach like symmetry of those facades. After selecting visually iconic buildings, mirroring the frontal silhouette, revolving or extruding those new outlines a series of buttons and balustrades were created as pieces to a gameboard at the human scale, hand scale, and perspective omniscient scale.

GORILLA ARCHITECTURE - Winter 2012 - 6 Weeks

MYERS

Project: In line with the work of Gramazio and Kohler and their explorations into brick placement via robotics / helicopters, Jeff Kipnis asked each individual to develop the “next brick type and or method of construction. After looking at the work of Stefan Sagemeister I wanted to approach the Banana Wall in a multiplanar perspective highlighting the variability in color as well as its rather temporary lifespan.
