Loss of 6000 by-products when the American government demands that oil remains in the ground

Oil is useless until it can be manufactured (refineries) into the fuels for the numerous transportation infrastructures, and usable derivatives that are the basis of every product in society.

We haven’t built a new refinery in almost 50 years. Today, 20% of the 700 “old” worldwide refineries are expected to shutter in the next 5 years, thus, there will be 140 manufacturers closing.

Even if environmental permits were obtainable, the economic justification to spend billions of dollars to build a new refinery is to manufacture fuels.

There is no economic justification to just use 10% of a 42 gallon barrel of oil to manufacture just the oil derivatives from either an old retrofitted refinery or a new refinery.

The future outlook is shortages and inflation in perpetuity, as all the parts and components for wind, solar, and nuclear are made with the oil derivatives manufactured from crude oil!

Thus, ridding the world of oil will eliminate wind, solar, and nuclear!
