Are the anti-humanists concerned with the planet or controlling people?
At the heart of the greatest increase of living standards the human race has seen in recorded history is the utilisation of incredibly abundant, cheap and reliable energy.
That energy source is fossil fuels.
Now, the term itself could perhaps be a bit misleading, as James and Travis discussed in episode 5 of The Climate Con podcast.
Also, nothing is to say this was the best way we could have gone about things and that even better ways of constructing society and generating energy don’t exist and have been suppressed, hidden or yet to be discovered.
For this article however we shall go with the term and focus on the huge positives that we have enjoyed as a society for our clever usage of fossil fuels.
Let’s start with industries.
How many industries can you think of today that are the bedrock to our modern civilisation that are or have been, hugely dependant on the usage of fossil fuels?
Here’s a quick list of 20 industries and their approximate reliance on fossil fuels:
1. Transportation: Approximately 90-95% of global transportation relies on fossil fuels for energy.
2. Power Generation: Around 65-70% of the world’s electricity is generated using fossil fuels.
3. Heating and Cooling: Roughly 80-85% of heating and cooling systems use fossil fuels.
4. Manufacturing: Fossil fuels account for about 70-75% of energy use in the manufacturing sector.
5. Agriculture: Around 30-35% of energy consumption in agriculture comes from fossil fuels.
6. Chemical Production: Fossil fuels contribute to about 70-75% of energy used in chemical processes.
7. Plastics and Synthetics: Approximately 90-95% of the production of plastics and synthetic materials relies on fossil fuels.
8. Construction: Fossil fuels power around 60-65% of machinery and equipment in construction.
9. Automobile Manufacturing: The production of vehicles relies on fossil fuels for around 50-55% of energy.
10. Public Transport: Fossil fuels power about 75-80% of public transportation systems.
11. Mining Equipment: Roughly 65-70% of energy used in mining operations comes from fossil fuels.
12. Asphalt and Paving: Fossil fuels contribute to about 70-75% of energy in asphalt production.
13. Textile Production: Around 60-65% of energy used in textile manufacturing is derived from fossil fuels.
14. Chemical Fertilisers: Fossil fuels account for approximately 75-80% of energy used in fertilizer production.
15. Packaging Industry: About 50-55% of energy used in packaging production comes from fossil fuels.
16. Food Processing: Fossil fuels contribute to around 40-45% of energy in food processing and distribution.
17. Hospitality and Tourism: Approximately 60-65% of energy used in travel and hospitality relies on fossil fuels.
18. Healthcare: Fossil fuels account for about 40-45% of energy used in healthcare operations.
19. Waste Management: Roughly 50-55% of energy in waste management processes comes from fossil fuels.
20. Sporting Goods Manufacturing: Around 70-75% of energy used in producing sporting goods is derived from fossil fuels.
Can you imagine life without the above?
Now, is the mad greenie agenda to somehow try and ‘just stop oil’ for example actually based in any kind of reality?
Well, perhaps one where we have a lot less people, cars, fun and a lot more taxes.
None of it would stop the climate changing though.
We are just getting started.
Someone should tell Just Stop Oil that they wont be able to use their phones/cameras to capture pictures of them blocking people from getting to work without fossil fuels.

20. Eyewear (Plastic Frames)
Starting to see the trend here?
Don’t even get me started on the whole greenhouse gas emissions lie and how we want more CO2 and how it’s causing the planet to get greener.
Now
let’s look at something really interesting

Mad greenies who want to try and get us to net zero like we were 150+ years ago probably haven’t considered the huge reduction in quality of life and life spans that
would occur should we achieve net zero…
Or maybe some of them know but couldn’t care less so long as they get filthy rich like many of them have peddling climate lies.
Destroying climate lies with knowledge and truth is fun, so I decided to write a short book for just that.
Rejoice, it’s not the end of the world and we are in the most abundant period of our recorded history and we can attribute so much of that to ‘fossil fuels’.
