If you want to be a professional chef you will de nitely need grit, as the pressures of a professional kitchen can be extremely intimidating and overwhelming. But don’t worry; you can use this Diploma in Professional Chef course in order to help you in this endeavour. The course is divided into three sections, where the rst section focuses on the requirements to become a chef. This part of the course will teach you how to cater to unique tastes, qualities required, equipments needed, schools and other things that are needed in order to become the perfect chef. Next you focus on kitchen management as you focus on learning about inventory, need vs. want, cooking for di erent occasions and more including Italian and French cooking. The nal portion of the course will teach you about managing a restaurant using many di erent ways including identifying target market, competition, equipment and supplies. Getting this course will also help the inner chef within you as there are also plenty of recipes attached in order to stir your taste buds.

Who is the course for? Any professional chef who wants to upgrade their cooking and management skills. People who have an interest in cooking and dreams to become a professional chef.

Entry Requirement: This course is available to all learners, of all academic backgrounds. Learners should be aged 16 or over to undertake the quali cation. Good understanding of English language, numeracy and ICT are required to attend this course.

Assessment: At the end of the course, you will be required to sit an online multiple-choice test. Your test will be assessed automatically and immediately so that you will instantly know whether you have been successful. Before sitting for your nal exam, you will have the opportunity to test your pro ciency with a mock exam.

Certi cation: After you have successfully passed the test, you will be able to obtain an Accredited Certi cate of Achievement. You can however also obtain a Course Completion Certi cate following the course completion without sitting for the test. Certi cates can be obtained either in hard copy at the cost of £39 or in PDF format at the cost of £24. PDF certi cate’s turnaround time is 24 hours, and for the hardcopy certi cate, it is 3-9 working days.
