20 Paintings Of Cork by John Adams This is an opportunity to purchase a unique collection of quality fine art paintings by a renowned Cork artist.
These paintings depict some of the best know places in Cork City and Harbour. The people of Cork are Johns favourite thing about the place, but he has a massive love for Cork City especially the old buildings and architecture. The beauty, workmanship and quality of the buildings are sometimes outstanding. Beautiful features were more common in older buildings, and the aesthetic of how a city looks is so important for the people who live in it. John prefers to depict the city when the Sun is shining and is looking its best. This collection of paintings are done with acrylic paint on canvas. Many are framed, the ones that are not are very big and do not need a frame. John Adams (painter) was born 1963 in Dublin, but now is an adopted son of Cork. His painting style veers from representational realistic paintings, to expressionistic paintings with wild brushstrokes slashing and moving with the flow of the composition, creating a sense of the waves or landscape coming alive.
