what are some core experiences of one's will vis a vis our encounters of self, other, god & cosmos in intrasubjective integrity (e.g. lonergan's conversions), intraobjective identity (e.g. unitary reality), intersubjective intimacy (e.g. unitive realities) and interobjective indeterminacy (e.g. ultimate realities)? that's the question we might ask of our formative spiritualities --not 'what root metaphor works best for our ontotheologies and theological anthropologies?' iow, it's still all about memory to hope, understanding to faith and will to love, just increasingly nuanced vis a vis our various spiritualities, which are manifold and multiform! at least, that's how i receive the distinctions offered by thomas merton, thomas keating, basil pennington and others, such as when discussing levels of consciousness: uroboric, typhonic, mythic membership, mental-egoic, intuitive, unitive, unity and ultimate
