So, what is this weekender event? Why do we want you to come and hang out with us so early on a Saturday morning? Well, first let us explain what this ministry is all about, to start that conversation we are excited to share with you our mission statement:

Our mission is to bring God’s message of reconciliation to anyone who has found themselves lost in the dark; that lonely place where thoughts can be the enemy, where our behaviors, secrets and habits have been taking us down a path that leads only to destruction. (Proverbs 14:12) We believe that God has provided us with this ministry as stated in 2 Cor. 5:18-19, along with this reconciliation we want to help you on this road to recovery. So you too can say you are now “RECOVERED.” With Christ we can do it. Together we can ARISE! Alone, we remain in our old places. The following verses are the foundation of this ministry:

“With Christ we can do it. Together we can ARISE!” -ARISE! MINISTRY

Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, 19 that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation. 2 Cor. 5:18-19 NIV 18

We understand the importance of confidentiality, but we also know that fellowship and openness is vital for recovery. We will always keep you in confidence, but don’t forget we are breaking down the walls of secrecy at the same time!

We know that we can endure anything that God puts before us as long as we have the word of God on our hearts. He told us the law was written on our hearts, we feel it’s time to live a life free from our secrets,

our bad behaviors and habits, we feel that when we take bold steps with Christ we will be healed and restored through Him.

LOSE YOUR BAGGAGE

!

Today would be a great day to make a decision to lose your baggage at the gate, we can help you lose it forever. We know that there is joy in the morning and that there is no sorrow that God cannot heal. But, we must be ready to lay down our burdens, to lay down our shame and if we have been broken it’s time to lift up our faces. It’s time to come home.

Saturday morning, come as you are.

Don't think that we are not aware of how hard it can be to come clean at your church, your place of worship. But, if you cannot come clean at the one place where the sick come to find healing, then do you think you will ever be able to live honestly?

We know in our hearts that you can! And we want to help you along this difficult road. Together we can overcome our addictions; our secrets, bad behaviors and habits. We can rise above anything that pushes us away from God. And to prove to you that not everyone in church is perfect; or has never made bad decisions, you can come Saturday morning and listen to John Sweet share his testimony about how he overcame 30 years of addiction and now lives a life free from the bondage of addiction and of hurt.

The doors will open at 7:30am, we want to help you kick off your weekend the right Alone, we remain in old places. way! We cannot wait to meet you and have fellowship with you. We will be meeting in Studio 12, there we have pool tables, comfy chairs, a cafe where we will serve free coffee and donuts, come on!
