SMOOTH OPERATOR The British-built New Nissan Qashqai Wins a Prestigious Car of the Year Award and Receives a 5-star Rating in Safety Tests
The British-built New Nissan Qashqai won a prestigious Car of the Year Award at the What Car? Awards Ceremony.
"The all-new Nissan Qashqai brings excellence and polish to a class of cars that is brimming with talent and tempting buys. The Qashqai delivers low costs and first-class levels of comfort, refinement, space and safety. The Nissan team should be justifiably proud of their achievement“, ̶ said Mr. Hallett, editor-in-chief of the What Car? guide.
An advanced network of safety features was a key factor in securing the new Nissan Qashqai a five-star rating by independent safety organisation EuroNCAP. During front impact tests, the passenger compartment of the Qashqai remained stable, with dummy readings indicating good protection for the knees and femurs of the driver and passenger. The driver dummy scored maximum points, with good protection of all body regions. Maximum points were also scored in the side barrier test with all parts of the body well protected. Based on readings from the child dummies used in the dynamic tests, the Qashqai provided maximum protection of an 18-month old infant and received five stars once again. Priced from £17,595, the New Nissan Qashqai comes with a range of the most advanced features on the market, such as a 360 degree parking assist system, moving object detection and traffic sign recognition, making this vehicle a real smooth operator.

INSPIRE ME At Specialist Cars Nissan and the John Clark Motor Group we strongly believe that inspiration is the impetus that drives the world forward. Looking at things differently is a large part of the creative process. Here at Nissan and the JCMG we enjoy seeing the spark of inspiration which drives other people to create something quite unique and inspiring. This is the route that led us to feature British artist Ian Cook and his artwork. Ian has become famous for his dynamic artwork created by using the unique method of painting with radio-controlled cars, car tyres and toy car wheels.
Ian describes his work as a friendly explosion of colour and we can see why after having seen a variety of his artworks including a Nissan Juke.
Simply amazing.
