ADDICTION MEDICINE FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM Class of 2022 Ian Bond, MD
Residency: University of Texas Southwest Medical Center Dr. Ian Bond is originally f rom southern Louisiana. Dr. Bond completed his undergraduate degree in biochemistry at Louisiana State University in 1999. Dr. Bond obtained his MD degree f rom LSU Health Sciences Center in Shreveport, LA in 2003. Dr. Bond completed his residency in anesthesiology from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, TX in 2007 and his f ellowship in cardiothoracic anesthesiology f rom Emory University Medical Center in 2008. Dr. Bond was in both academic and private practice as an attending anesthesiologist f rom 2008-2018, mostly in Oklahoma City, OK. Dr. Bond enjoys trying to be as physically active as time permits by walking, hiking, running, working out, swimming, and playing tennis. At this point in his lif e, he enjoys spending time with f riends and helping others whenever and however he is able.
Rafik Saleh, MD
Residency: Hackensack Meridian Hospital Palisades Dr. Raf ik Saleh was born in Port Said, a beautif ul city on the Mediterranean Sea in Egypt. He went to Cairo University School of Medicine then completed multiple residency programs in Internal Medicine, General Surgery and Preventive Medicine. Dr. Saleh really enjoys research, and he was selected as Loma Linda University Research Champion f or 2020-2021 and he enriched his researc h experience by having MPH f rom Loma Linda University in Calif ornia. Dr. Saleh is married and has a girl and a boy, he enjoys spending time with his f amily, going to the zoo, relaxing on the beach, and reading history books. Dr. Saleh believes that everyone deserves a second chance in lif e, not only that, but we should never give up helping others.
