Family Acclamations Mama, We awake each morning to start a new day, but the pain of losing you never goes away. We go about the things we have to do, and as the hours pass, we often think of you. We want to call you and just hear your voice. Then we remember that we have no choice, For you are not there and now our heart cries just to see you again, to tell you goodbye. To say, "Mama I love you and I always will," and hope that much of you in us you've instilled. The day that you left we just didn't know, that you were going where we couldn't go. And now all our memories of you are so dear, but man, how we miss you and wish you were here. Who now can hear us when we need to cry? It's so hard to tell you, "Mama goodbye." Someday we know all will be well and we'll see you again with stories to tell. Until then our memories of you we'll keep near, and I'll pass them on to those who are dear. We love and miss you, Mama! LOVE DAVID, JAMES AND GINA
Momo, Saying goodbye to you never would have been easy, no matter when. It is even harder now because we have already been so far apart. Even those of us who were close wish for one more chance, one more talk, one more hug, or just one more smile. You truly were an amazing woman of God. You are so important to us, that is why we will miss you so much, cry so much, and grieve so much. Our only solace is knowing you are up above and in a better place. No more pain just peace for you now. Our hearts are broken now, and they will never be fully fixed. We will have to hold on and cherish the memories you have given us. We hope you knew how much you are loved by us. We know we will see you one day again. We love you so much, Momo, and we will miss you forever. Hug Papa and Uncle Ricky for us. Love, YOUR GRANDKIDS

FINAL ARRANGEMENTS ENTRUSTED TO Sister I’m blessed to call you sister, I also call you friend; you’ve loved me unconditionally, and stood through thick and thin. You’ve shared my joys and sorrows, my laughter and my tears. You’ve been my inspiration, as we grew up through the years. When we were little children we laughed and played together; then growing up you stood by me, through good and stormy weather. There’s something God has given us, that’s more than family; He’s placed a love for you, my Sister, deep down in the heart of me. I will love and miss you forever Genny. YOUR SISTER MADELINE

“I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.” 2 Timothy 4:7
E
vangelist Gennivie Jackson was born to Lenard and Marie Pradia on April 9, 1945 in Houston, Texas. She was the baby of six children; John, Lawrence, Michael, Delores, and Madeline. Gennivie graduated from Jack Yates High School and attended Texas Southern University. She worked for the City of Houston until her retirement. At the age of 18 years old she met the love of her life, Clarence James Jackson. Genny and Clarence entered holy matrimony on December 1, 1965. They had four beautiful children; Gene (Ricky), David, James and Laginia.
Evangelist Jackson confessed her love for Christ at an early age. She was a faithful member of The Church of Nazarene, Emmanuel Church of God and Christ and Life Community Church. God gave her a passion to help others through her ministry “ Victorious Women” an outreach group that allows a safe space for women to support each other through life’s journeys. Gennivie enjoyed decorating, family time, shopping and spending lots of time with her dog Smokie Joe. She was so passionate about her family and her friends. The Lord called Gennivie to eternal rest on February 28, 2021. Preceding her in death were her parents, Lenard and Marie Pradia; her sister, Delores; brothers, Michael, John and Lawrence; her son, Gene (Ricky) and her husband, Clarence James Jackson. Left to cherish her lovely memories are her two sons, David (Rina) and James (Melissa); daughter, Laginia (Allen Jr.); sister, Madeline Whiting; daughter- in-law, Trina (Gene deceased); dog, Smokie Joe; 14 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
WEEP NOT FOR ME Weep not for me though I have gone into that gentle night, Grieve if you will, but not for long, upon my soul’s sweet flight. I am at peace, my soul’s at rest, there is no need for tears, For with your love I was so blessed, for all those many years. There is no pain, I suffer not, the fear is now all gone, Put now these things out of your thoughts, in your memory I live on. Remember not my fight for breath, remember not the strife, Please do not dwell upon my death, but celebrate my life.
