Answers to Potential Interview Questions: Q: Tell me about yourself. A: I am a graduate of Cedar High School who enrolled in concurrent enrollment classes through Southern Utah University. I have been actively involved in FBLA, DECA, Spirit Club, Student Senate, and Tennis. Q: What skills do you have? A: I am organized, friendly, and a hard worker. I can also use Microsoft Office programs. Q: Why should I hire you? A: I believe that I would be a good addition to the company and a valuable asset. Q: Why do you want to work for us? A: I’ve heard good things about this company and I think it would be a good work environment for an individual with my personality and skills. Q: What are your weaknesses? A: My organization skill can sometimes be overwhelming for people who do not possess the same skills. However, I firmly believe that organization plays an important role in maintaining a successful business. Q: What are your future vocational/educational plans? A: After obtaining a Bachelor’s degree and a smaller, accredited university, I would like to work for a Master’s or professional degree in a business field at a larger educational institution. Q: How do you deal with criticism or instruction on the job? A: I always want to make sure I’m doing the job right. I ask lots of questions to make sure my instructions are clear. I don’t get hurt feelings over instructions or constructive criticism. I am always open to learning new ways to do things.
