The waterfall is known for its beauty that it adds to Odisha. ● Nohkalikai waterfalls: it soars at the third highest position of waterfall in India. It is situated in the dense forest of Khasi hills in Meghalaya which is 5 km away from Cherrapunji falling down from the height of 1120 ft. forming a green colored plunge pool at the bottom. ● Langshiang Waterfalls: it is the most beautiful waterfall, the Kynshi river splits into two streams and falls down from a height of 337 m i.e. 1106 ft. into a deep gorge, the beauty of this waterfall leave the tourist with mouth open wide it is at a distance of 105km from shillong. ● Nohsngithiang waterfall: it is also known as Mawsmai falls or Seven Sister’s waterfall. It is located in the heart of East Khasi hills district in Meghalaya which forms segmented waterfall chain.
