Clayton Middle School student wins poetry contest

Savannah Slay, a seventh grader at Clayton Middle School, recently won a poetry contest sponsored by Conundrum Escapes, Ready Set Escape and Johnston Now.

It reads as follows:

The door has closed,

The clock is counting down.

Time to start searching,

Looking all around.

Is it a clue? Can we use it?

Will we make it out?

Are we going to lose it?

We need a hint please!

We don’t know what to do!

Now we have it!!!

Looks like we’re getting through!!

So much fun with our family and friends!!

We love escape rooms and can’t wait to come again!!
