MULTIPURPOSE TOOL-WEIGHTLESS HANDLING ARMS The company, TECNOSPIRO MACHINE TOOL, S.L., manufacturer of the most popular tapping arm machines ROSCAMAT®, has developed a new handling multiuse ergonomic arms concept specially designed to keep weightless different tool loads like, scanners, screw-drivers (hydraulic, electric, pneumatic), motors or different application devices avoiding operator’s tiredness and getting rid of muscle-skeletal injuries. Actually, they constitute the basic aid complement of the worker who only must focus on uprising, handling and moving around any type of tool; his 3rd arm in fact, which releases operators’ loading any weight by themselvesf granting an agile and fast work and keeping overall a high precision and safe job in all operations, issues which have direct influence on their efficiency and productivity.
Operations like trimming, polishing, welding, marking, mixers or screw-driving among many others are part of the most common operations of those weightless 3ARM®. They are highly efficient in many sectors and activities like metalworking industry, cast, automotive, painting, food-processing, chemical’s or pharmaceutical among others. Build under request, there’s a wide range of handling weightless 3ARM which may support in between 0,2-35 kg. and getting different working areas according to customer’s needs and technical features of the machine to be fixed. Those are divided in different series with their correspondent own details: Series 2: simple and light arms for light weights on the purpose to move them around no so big working area. Main features: - Maximum working area: 935 mm. - Vertical stroke: 695 mm. - Maximum weight to hang on: 6 kg.
Serial 3: the arm combination consists on a radial arm + pendular arm which turn 360º around themselves and are build by separate on modular structures to cover different working areas. Though, according to the customer needs, the same 3ARM combinations of serial 3 allow to be fixed on ceiling or top plate, they can also have “turning & tilting” locking systems (pneumatic or manual) which allow to immobilize them on a fixed position in all its axes simultaneously or by separate. Main features: - Maximum working area: from 1145 to 1960 mm. - Vertical stroke: from 710 mm. to 1130 mm. - Maximum weight to hang on: 35 kg.

Serial 5: as by on serial 3, the arm combination consists on a radial arm + the assembly of two pendular arms connected together which enlarge the working area of the equipment, its length and height stroke.
Main features: - Maximum working area: from 2240 to 2550 mm. - Vertical stroke: from 1150 mm. - Maximum weight to hang on: 12 kg.
To finish with there is needed to fix every tool at the 3ARM. There exist as well a range of different headmembers to be chosen and according the tool shapes and free axis movements needed to fulfil the planned job, vertical direction or other angle rotations.
A wide range of several added “handlebars” like levers, curves, extensions or rotating gimbals are available. By those, it is possible to move the tools without angle limitations in addition to enlarging the arm, separate the tools from the arm structure and also the arm do not bother the operator.

All the 3ARM can be fixed on several designed supports like tables and rails which allow to move them easily, quickly and comfortable in all its arm extension.
