TAURUS Series with spring loaded Trigger System for gap free riveting in pressure sensitive applications Description The spring loaded trigger system is installed in replacement of the standard tool head. It prevents triggering of the riveting operation if a pre-defined pressure is not applied on the application with the tool hold by the operator. This ensures that the materials of the riveting application are properly pressed together before the rivet is installed, and prevents the formation of gaps where the rivet body could bulge out of control, spoiling the fastening without being noticed by the operator.
Mode of operation The standard yellow trigger of the TAURUS tool is doubled by a second, spring loaded valve connected in series. This valve will only open when the pre-defined spring load is reached and allow the operator to start the riveting operation with the yellow trigger. The spring load can be pre-defined by the operator in following steps by adding or removing springs from the mechanism : Number of springs 0 1 2 3

Scope of delivery The spring loaded trigger system cannot be retrofitted to existing TAURUS tools and is only available on new tools, factory mounted, under following part numbers : TAURUS 1 with spring loaded trigger system TAURUS 2 with spring loaded trigger system TAURUS 3 with spring loaded trigger system TAURUS 4 with spring loaded trigger system
