Breakin' Convention

Renowned and inclusive celebration of hip hop culture Breakin’ Convention returns to Lighthouse Poole on Wednesday 17 May for the first date of a major UK tour across nine celebrating its 20th anniversary.

Hosted and curated by Artistic Director Jonzi D, Breakin’ Convention 2023 features showstopping international acts and showcases exceptional hip hop crews from our region including top poppers, lockers, b-boys and b-girls carefully chosen by Jonzi D, local hip hop representatives and the Breakin’ Convention team. The foyer at Lighthouse will undergo a makeover complete with live DJs, graffiti artists and freestyle dance sessions so everyone can join in.
